I've always enjoyed playing Mario Kart with my family! It's a lot of fun especially when you pretend to be really competitive! definitely a great game for kids and adults to play too!!!

Love the updated tracks and the graphics are awesome! Lots of unlockable content as you keep winning races. Would be nice if there was some set order to what becomes unlocked. Otherwise a fun game!

My grandson's Wii console died, so his family and mine got Wii U systems to replace. We had to have Mario Kart 8, and were not disappointed. Graphics are much better on the Wii U.

If you have loved the Mario Kart series since the beginning there is no way that you could hate this game. The games seemed to be going down hill for the passed few iterations but this is definitely a kick start to bringing the classic feeling of love, frustration, and family/friend battling good times. If you haven't had a reason to own a Wii U this is possibly the best time to make the jump with this game.

Hadn't played a Mario Kart since the Nintendo 64. What a blast still, graphics look good, karts are fast and the possibility to drive up the walls and multiple paths all seem great.

I've been playing Mario kart games since the original on SNES. With it's stunning visuals and great selection of tracks as well as a robust online mode, Mario kart 8 is a must have wii u title.

This is a good game, but not my favorite Mario Kart. Wish they'd have downloadable tracks for multi-player over the course of 8 years until the next release on Wii.

I bought a WiiU solely to play this game and I haven't been disappointed in the game nor the console. The graphics are amazing and the courses are fun (albeit a bit short). The regular career mode may be a bit too easy for us older players; however, that can be easily remedied by switching to VS. and selecting frantic mode. All in all, if you've loved the Mario Kart franchise, you'll love this game.

I have owned all the mario kart games and I have always loved them!! I got this one 4 my birthday from my kids. This is the best one so far many more options than the last one.

I would give this game a 4.6 out of 5. The courses are great and it's easy to unlock them. The one thing I don't like are the items. However, it is an awesome game.

It's pretty much everything you'd expect for the next generation of Mario Kart... better graphics, great music, good controls. There's a lot of stuff to unlock so it has decent replay value. Watching replays can be fun also, especially in a group. If you were expecting a revolutionary Mario Kart game, this isn't it... (don't fix it if it ain't broke?) but the new tracks and redesigns of previous tracks make it worth picking up. One minor quibble, it would be great if you could use the Wii U Gamepad as a separate screen (ex. for 2 players, each gets a screen), but instead it just mirrors the TV or displays the track. That may be a limitation of the technology though.

This game is just pure fun! It's a great game to bring to someone's house and just have a game night. It has a great online mode with a choice to bring a guest online as well. The game also has a lot of controller options. From the gamepad, the wii u pro controller and to even the Wii remote by itself with a choice to opt out the tilt controls. You can also plug in your nunchuck and if you have the old classic controllers, you can use those as well. If you don't have this game yet, go buy it! And if you dont have a Wii U yet get it because this game will definitely keep you busy until the release of the new Super Smah Bros game. Other than that, happy gaming everyone!

Mario Kart 8 is simply fun. The new anti gravity feature is beautifully inserted into the old tracks and the game is friarly challenging (especially the online gameplay which is really fun)

This is the type of game that you dont have to be a hard core gamer to enjoy. Its nice being able to play a few rounds with my wife who normally never plays video games but she loves this.

This game brought me back to the days I use to play it on Super Nintendo. Would recommend it to any die hard Nintendo fans! Best of all you can play it online!

Mario Kart for WiiU continues with the great tradition and fun of the Mario Kart franchise. The graphics are amazing and it controls great too, both with the gamepad and the wii remote.

Mario Kart is THE game to play with friends and family! I get frustrated over this game often because of those darn items, but it's part of the game and it's over all an amazing game!

Reminded me of my childhood playing on the n64. I haven't owned a Nintendo product since. It's nice to be able to play old map and then get some new ones. Great game to play with family with a bit of shouting here and there. Everyone should play with the wii remote. Makes it that much more fun. Wish there were more maps, but I don't like how we have to purchase additional maps when I have already bought the game. Guess that's just how gaming is now a days

Great game! Wish you could play two players on different screens (one on tv and one on controller screen in full screen. Only does split screen. Other than that it's a very fun game.

This is a great continuation to the Mario Kart series. The graphics have been improved and new types of racing have been added to keep even the experienced Mario Kart players excited.
