This game brings back memories of my friends and I gathering around my SNES for Super Mario Kart tournaments. Plays great, looks great and has a ton of replay value.

Mario Kart has always been a favorite game to play on the Nintendo platforms. If you like fun enjoyable racing this is a great game to buy and everyone will have fun playing it.

Overall, I would say that this is a must buy for a Nintendo fan. Great fun, but I would have liked some additional online modes to keep the game fresh.

This is basically the same as the Wii version that came out 6 years ago. My kids like playing it but there is no wow factor for them. I put the original wii version in and they didn't complain that they were not playing the new version. Graphics are a little better. But that doesn't justify a $60 price tag

Don't get me wrong. I love Mario kart, but this one seemed a bit lacking, i'm sure though after they released from DLC the content will be much better

Mario Kart 8 is an awesome game. Its fun to play with multiple people especially as a party game. Even my wife loves playing it and shes not a gamer. That tells you something.

Awesome game. This was my primary reason for buying the wii u and it didn't disappoint. This game has a tremendous amount flexibility for gameplay which never makes it boring.

The best Wii U game that I have played thus far. The HD graphics are impressive. One of the best Mario Karts of all time. The online play is super difficult but is addictive.

It is going to be the entertainer for this summer, my kids play daily, new caracters, rewards and scenarios.

This game is really fun for the whole family. even if you've never played a Mario Kart game before, it is easy to pick up and play. It really makes owning a Wii U worth it.

I got this game for my teen children and they love it!! Up to four players can play at the same time so nobody gets left out. I've even played a few times and like it too.

It's the reason why I bought a Wii U! I enjoyed playing Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo and the Wii. This game continues on the fun gameplay and adds in amazing graphics!

As a family of four, It's nice to have a game we can all play together. Still haven't explored all of the options but will eventually.

You will not be upset after purchasing Mario Kart 8. It is as fun as the previous games in the series. Multiplayer is fun, Online and Local. The HD graphics are amazing!

I really like Mario Kart 8. It's easy to pick up but it still can be challenging for veteran gamers to win all gold cups on 150cc. I would still like to see more tracks.

We purchased this game as something to play over the summer with 6 kids in the house. Of course, the most competitive players are the adults! This is not just a remake or collection of old levels. There are some older levels but there are a great many completely new ones. There are new vehicles, gliders, drivers, items, boosts, etc. The anti-gravity areas are not as confusing or bizarre as I expected. Overall, it's good for pretty much everyone and part of a well-like franchise with a great history. This is a safe choice for a gift, if you're looking for a game but don't know anything about video games.

Mario kart 8 does a great job living up to the standards set by the series. The new additions to the game are great and getting to see It all happen in HD is awesome!

Mario Kart 8 is exactly what you expect from a Mario Kart game. Fun, great soundtrack, nearly perfect track design, and a good time for all.
