The game is really fun! Beginners can easily pick up and play this game. I love the new Rainbow stage. MK 8 has several retro stages from MK 64, which is really nice. The online features are really cool. You can play with friends or strangers from all over the world! You can even create & host your own tournament online! This game is a MUST HAVE for all Wii U owners!!!

This game represents a return to form in the Mario Kart series. The roster of playable characters is greatly expanded from previous versions. The HD graphics are excellent, and this is one of the best looking games I have ever played. The game is fun alone or with a group of friends. The only complaint I have is that a fifth player cannot play using only the game pad.

This game has superb graphics and the handling around turns is smooth and comfortable. I like the inclusion of the Koopalings. I wish they added a few more bonus though. I love the HD courses. The game has never looked better. One suggestion would be to have more original courses and to stop with the rehashing of courses from older Nintendo systems like N64 and GBA.

Mario Kart 8 is such a turbo boost over Mario Kart for the Wii. Gorgeous and crisp graphics now detailed in high definition go the full quarter mile in delivering an experience that overtakes the previous version. My kids love playing and watching it and it's a ton of fun to play against other people, whether it be locally or online and all that stuff.

Addictive! Fun race track! Cool characters! New card and accessories!

I've been waiting for this game to come out since I got my Wii U on release day, and other than waiting all this time, I can say it does not disappoint. It's awesome to see some of my favorite old tracks revived in this new release. The graphics are great and the racing is as fun as its ever been. If you are a Wii U owner this is a must have, just beware Luigi.

This game brings back all the classic elements of the prior games, including maps for SNES, GCN, N64, DS and the like. Of course, there are new courses to race in as well. The graphics are vastly improved due to the HD upgrade of the Wii U. The game has a few new item surprises as well. If you're a fan of the series, I am most certain this will not disappoint!

MarioKart 8 is the type of game that's hard to put down. Solo play is fun, but when you have a group of friends playing together, THAT'S when the chaos ensues. And what a blast it is! (Expect cursing and foul language, not from the game, but from the gamers themselves; Going from first to last at the end of a race can make someone very salty.)

This is a great family friendly game! The graphics are great and its really fun for hours and hours. The only down fall is the online voice chat only works with friends and does not work during game play.

My boyfriend has been counting down the days for this game, and now that it is living in our sitting room, this is all he does! It's fantastic that we can play together, play over the internet, or he can just do it himself. The graphics are amazing, and it transports us to our childhoods with N64. Love Love Love everything about Nintendo, couldn't be happier

I love this game! It is very fun and easy for all ages.

This game is dope. I play all the time with my brother after a few drinks, or just hanging out. Super fun, brings a whole new element to the races. Not having played since the 64 days, I was a little thrown off by some of the new twists they throw at you, but it's pretty easy to figure out. Recommend everyone and their mother get this game

A must buy. The best kart racing game hands down. Very challenging and looks amazing on the Wii U. The new levels look and play great as well as the returning levels. The idea of underwater and zero gravity racing makes this very fresh compared to past installments. This is great for any age. My 4 and 6 yr olds love this, and are very good at it.
