Great game. The graphics are awesome and I really like them bringing tracks back from prior versions. The computer is challenging and still likes to cheat, but it's still a lot of fun. The split screen action works really well, no lag to speak of.

We have played Mario Kart for years. This latest edition is another great experience for my family. We all play together. The new courses, characters, and game play are all very good. One of my daughter's favorite parts is designing her own kart.

The new Mario Kart is everything you expected but includes all the bells and whistles from the get go! You can unlock the extra quickly and easily! Can't beat the multiplayer seeing as so few games can be enjoyed on the same screen with a friend!

This is the best Mario Kart game to date. The detailing is absolutely stunning while the gameplay is smooth. The amount of characters to choose from is ridiculous! I recommend this to anyone who is a fan of the series as well as race game lovers.

Everything about this game is amazing.the graphics are awesome. The carts and the characters are spectacular. The addition of the motorcycles and the quad are a nice touch. This worth it if you are a Mario fan, a racing fan, and a morio kart fan.

This is a great addition to the Mario Kart franchise. New characters new Karts and new tracks. The only gripe I have is the vs battle mode. It has been changed from the old way. But I still will rate this 5 stars and would definitely recommend.

I haven't played a mariokart game since the wii. This one takes what was there and brings it back with amazing graphics, gameplay and fun! The levels are easy enough on 50cc for my 6 year old to play and can be more challenging with higher CCs.

big upgrade from wii version. graphics are great, great details. much more advanced online mode. best racer typically wins unlike previous version. only miss Mario 64 battle mode.

My wife bought me a Wii U earlier this year and I only have a few games for it but this was one of the first ones I needed. Mario Kart has always been my favorite racing game and as with any Mario Kart it's one that I don't get bored of and will keep coming back for more. Most racing games are simply about beating your friends but there is so much more to this game than your typical racing game due to all of the unique features that the MK series brings to the table. It's challenging, there have already been several DLC's including a free DLC I just downloaded, and the amount of characters and customization is really high. This game and Super Smash Bros. are two of the most fun games I have played in a long time as far as local multiplayer goes. I just wish there was more time to play with friends and family.

This is by far the best Mario Kart game I have ever played. Feels balanced compared to the predecessors (No more blue shell spam fest as in MKWii). Gravity adds a fun and interesting twist to the game. Graphics are absolutely beautiful in HD.

once you play this game right away you will be able to tell it's defiantly a whole new game from the one before this one. not the same old same. it really feels like a whole different/new/upgrade. a must have in ur wii u game collection.

The graphics are great and game play is good. The new feature that you can go up walls & ceilings is great. Really should be able to either create a car or your own racer by now but still nothing. The characters & tracks lack creativity. Same tracks as the past Mario Karts would like more new not the same coarses . Would like Nintendo to stop using old content and reusing it with a little more flash. The lack of creativity in all of Wii games is why they are not selling like PS & XBox.

One of the best games of this generation, and one of the top 3 games on Wii U. Easy to pick up, but very deep and challenging gameplay. Also some of the best in game music I've ever heard, with a full jazz orchestra playing original themes.

The game is great, it's a lot of fun with friends. The new tracks and the remakes are all great. There is a lot of variety and secrets to discover, but you need to learn all the tricks and techniques required if you want to compete online.

Everything is awesome with this game. If I had one complaint, it would be about the battle courses. The battles takes place on the race track rather than a stage built for battle. Other than that, this game is perfect in every way.

This version is considerably more fun than Mario Kart Wii which was the best selling of all time. It retains all of the fun of the original and finds ways to make it fresh and new.

Great graphics! Numerous tracks, characters and "accesories" new ways to kill or beat your opponents! Still has the feel of the original Mariokart but with the newest additions, it is even more of a challenge. Well worth the money!!!!!

This game is great. Nintendo does it again. Love playing multiplayer with the family. If you don't yet own the Wii U it is worth buying a Wii U just for this game alone. Plus they have a lot of other fun games out and coming out soon.

Recently bought a Wii U and had to have Super Smash Bros and this game Mario Kart 8. Ideally this game is a lot more fun with friends. Definitely recommended for families or a person with a good amount of friends to play together.

This is the best one yet and very fun to play with everyone in the same room playing against each other. Not sitting at home having to play each other online. Nintendo still has the fun magic in their games for the whole family.
