I haven't played too much Mario Kart in my life until I got this game, but it's great! Good graphics, features, etc. A must-buy for any Wii U owner. And if you don't own a Wii U, then you should probably get one, and this game.

Not only is this another amazing Mario Kart game, with more variety and game play options, but through July 31 Nintendo's giving a free game download (of games that retail for around $50) if you buy it. It seemed like a no-brainer.

Let's just say the boyfriend and I had "friendly" competition due to this game! I won. Of course! Anyway, customizing the vehicles and the upgraded graphics make this game great!! Same gameplay as we all have known and loved.

This game was bought for my 13 year old son. He loves it! The graphics and sounds are great. He loves all the mario games. I think they are challenging. He is a great player and eventually masters most of the Mario games he plays.

Anyone who knows Mario Kart immediately can recognize that this game is worth obtaining. Good for any ages. Watch as your friends team up against you. Loads and loads of hours spent on this game and I still cannot get enough.

Excellent choice for those drained out on first person shooters. Hit the courses with baby Mario and drive up some drama wit your friends. Tia is an all out great competitive gave fun for friends and the whole famy. Go Mario go.

It is great for any age, but still has challenging game modes and smooth and fast online play. It is awesome to play mario kart in HD and it has 32 great tracks. If you have liked any of the previous game you will love this one.

It's Mario Kart. With Wii U graphics. What more is there to say? Bright big and beautiful tracks, online support, and some DLC expansions that are a lot of fun. Still only ok single player, an absolute blast with friends.

The game lives up to its expectations. Still not as good as the one on Nintendo 64, but it's still fun. Right now if you buy the game and register it on club Nintendo you can download a free game. I believe there are 4 choices.

Mario kart 8 is one of the best games on the wii u and an absolute blast when you have four people playing on it! It's great for anything from friendly races to competitive ones, absolute must for any Nintendo fan.

I remember playing Mario games as a kid, including Mario kart. I was excited to get this for our wii U. It's fun alone or with family competition and my son loves that this is a game mom will actually play with him! :)

Online multiplayer is lots of fun and very competitive. Anyone can get lucky with a bullet bill and go from 9th to 4th. Fun for the whole family offiline as well. Vs CPU gets boring after a while once you start to crush them.

Beautiful game and tight controls. It's fair and unfair at the same time, which is all you should ask for in a great mario kart game. Great usage of old levels and insane gravity in the new levels. Solid reason to buy a Wii-U

BUY THIS GAME. If you own a wii u (why don't you own one yet?) this is an essential game to buy. Its a great family fun game. The graphics are beautiful and the gameplay with the game pad is a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

the latest installment in the Mario kart series brings its own little but great twist to the series. All of the courses look gorgeous in glorious HD all of your favorite Nintendo characters have never looked this good.

A must purchase for the Wii U, especially if you're a fan of the series. Takes a while to get used to the changes in controls/drifting but once you get the hang of it, you'll enjoy the multi-dimensional nature of this game.

This game looks and feels incredible. Mario Kart in HD just like you've always wanted. Only drawback might be a slight lack of content but that's ultimately up to you. I would highly recommend for anyone with a Wii U.

This is one of the best family game I've ever play. I purchase this game to have a family game night. And it's turns out that every other night we been playing it for hours. We also challenge other family member online.

The last few Mario Karts I've played have certainly been fun, but disappointing. This Mario Kart is the best I've played in a while. It has really great and interesting courses compared to the last few games, excellent graphics, and the zero gravity mechanic is a cool addition. Great fun when playing with family and friends. Honestly, my only disappointment is the incredibly bare bones battle mode, but it's not that big of a deal breaker.

Classic, but fresh feel to a great racing franchise. I would like to have seen battle specific courses created instead of using a regular race track, but it plays as it's expected to: always fun and always competitive.
