I've owed every Mario Kart for consoles, and this version still impresses me. I bought a Wii U, and a big reason for buying the console was for Mario Kart 8. it's great for the family.

Great gameplay and HD graphics. Classic Mario Kart racing with a few gameplay tweeks thrown in. A definite system seller IMO. Only flaw: No battle mode arenas :( Otherwise, PERFECT game!!!

My girls (3 & 8) love playing this game. It was easy for them to learn the controls since its like controlling a steering wheel. Only thing I wish is that the races would end shortly after the second to last place racer finishes. Instead, the game waits for all racers to cross the finish line on their own. This has us waiting for quite a while for my 3 year old to finish the race.

I've been a life long fan of Mario cart, really was the first game that I can remember playing on super Nintendo as a little kid. They've done a great job with this version. love it!

This game is truly great. The graphics are amazing, the different racing courses are awesome and the characters are super. This is my sons favorite game. Extremely fun and enjoyable.

A must purchase for the Wii U, especially if you're a fan of the series. The game is perfect for most ages, is easy to play, and provides plenty of entertainment for family and friends.

I grew up with Nintendo and loved playing the original on the N64. I do miss the buttons of the N64 and especially the Gamecube controllers. The Wii U gamepad and the Wii/WiiU classic controllers are a step down in my opinion. The game itself though is amazing. It's an enhanced version of the original, with a good mix of new material and an homage of the older Mario Kart games.

I have not stopped playing this game since my purchase ! It is loads of fun the race tracks are awesome i unlocked loads of content in less than 3 hours ! It's an awesome game

This is the best mario cart since double dash. You must get this game . Playing on the couch with all your friends is the best . You will alway have a fun race with the online matches

My son loves this game as well. He plays it all the time. Awesome graphics too. He's seven and didn't really know about Mario Kart until I bought this for him. Can't get enough.

Mario kart, what more could you ask for?? love the game with its vibrant colors and fluid gameplay, my nephew loves it as well and he and his friends really enjoy playing it!

my nephew received a WiiU console and he wanted more games, and this was one of them that i purchased. he loves this game as much as i did as a kid. this is fun for everyone!

Well, now I see why my granddaughter has been bugging me to upgrade our system to the WiiU. This game is fast and fun to play. Something the whole family can play together.

This game is pretty solid, great for solo or group play. I love playing it with family or friends when they are over. Much more fun to play with friends. Love all the characters.

My kids love this game. They loved Mario Kart Wii and love the Wii U version with the new features. Mario Kart games are always fun all the way back to the original on SNES.

You can't go wrong with MarioKart 8. Lots of things to do(racing and battle modes) with lots of funny characters. MarioKart shines when played with others(especially online).

I purchased this game for my 14-year old autistic son who loves playing 'Mario' games on his Nintendo Wii. He has enjoyed the game thoroughly without getting bored... AMAZING!
