Great installment of the Mario Kart series. Looks great, plays great. Has a ton of character. Pretty disappointed that the Battle Arenas from the 64 era didn't make it back.

If you have played any other mario kart game, you will love this! It is a perfect mix of everything you have ever loved and new things to start loving...all in gorgeous HD.

The game play on the Wii U is excellent. Great multiplayer online mode. Fun to play at home for a family of 4 racers. Lots of unlockable characters and kart customizations.

I do really enjoy mario kart 8 its alot of fun. The racing and characters. Fun with friends havent tried online but I imagine its fun. The only let down was not throw back battle mode. The arena level truely were a staple of the franchise and I honedtly think it was the worst decision to not use the classic battle formula in this installment. I do hope for an add on DLC that will bring it to the wii u so we can enjoy the epic battles against friends and online like the good old days. But it is a great racer like they always deliver. It feels new and fresh but still has the thing we all love about the mario kart series.

This is a perfect follow-on to previous Mario Kart iterations. It makes great use of the Wii U graphic and motion capabilities as you would expect from a Nintendo game.

My fiancee and I have had a ton of fun playing this together and online... though I always have to let her win! Plus, there's DLC that lets you unlock Link and Zelda!!!

Fun for 2 or more players. if you have a group and wanted to have fun together but not to violent then Mario Kart is the game. this is a game great for families, kids etc.

This is a great family game i enjoy playing with my kids. I am not sure if i like this one as much as the one for the wii, but it is definitely a fun family game

My nephews love this game!!! It's even better than the nintendo version I had when i was younger and then graphics are amazing! Recommend this to everyone of all ages!

This is a very fun game for social gatherings of gamers. It is best played in person so the "smack talking" can be part of the game play. However, it does offer great online play with little to no lag; huge upgrade from the Wii version. If you have a Wii U already then this game is a must have. If you are thinking of getting a Wii U definitely try to get the bundle!

This game is awesome!! We all love playing it. All ages. It's nice that my youngest thinks everyone is still playing when he is the only one still driving around.

I remember the first Mario Kart and this is even better. Great graphics and great gameplay. Everyone in the game loves playing it and we have a 5 and 3 year old. Love it!

Much more competitive than old Mario cart games. Skill has become more of a factor than luck. Graphics are great and Improvements are many! Hours of fun for everyone!

We owned the original version on Wii so we were excited to purchase this one. It is a little difficult to get accustomed to, but is still just as much fun to play.

I am really enjoying this game. If you like Mario Kart, you will not be disappointed. However, I prefer the classic controls over the motion/Wii steering wheel controls.

This game is classic Mario & friends hashing it out and it takes me back to my childhood playing Super Mario Bros. I love it and my nephews & brothers all love it!
