Its' in HD and the graphics rock!!! The levels are great and the slow motion is awesome for replay. You can watch Mario kart t.v. This was a long awaited game for him.

Well, it's basically the same thing that we've all been playing for years. But the updated graphics, courses and game play makes this the best Mario Kart yet.

Great new aspects to this Wii U game in comparison to the original Wii game. Enjoy the multiplayer function and look forward to unlocking all the car features.

Its a good, solid entry into the Mario kart canon. It's visually amazing and fun to drive. The only reason I hold back a star is that the AI alternates between stupidly easy and absurdly armed to the teeth. I've had races where you win with 10 seconds ahead and others where everyone's got red shells, blue shells and lightning bolts. That gets old.

This maro kart game is very fun. Good party game to play with friends. Not as a good as mario kart double dash but still very good, and the graphics look amazin.g

We typically try to buy games that are multi player so we can enjoy them with our 5 yr old son. We have other Mario karts but this is our favorite by far!!

Mario Kart 8 is probably my favorite Mario Kart game of all time. The graphics are really amazing in full HD, and the online play always makes game play challenging.

Mario Kart 8 is the best in the series, with a robust online community, vast Kart customization, balanced mechanics and controls, and visual spectacles like antigravity sections and the "crazy 8" power up. The game is easy to pick up and learn, but offers enough depth that it is challenging to master. Races are less luck based than previous entries, since the items on average are less powerful, and there is finally a counter to the infamous Blue Shell with the inclusion of a new Horn item. The new courses are well designed and many fan favorites such as Yoshi Valley and Toad's Turnpike make returns from past entries. Complaints are few and far between, but chief among them are that the battle mode now takes place on open tracks rather than closed arenas, making the experience less concise. It is also worth noting that upgrades unlock randomly based on the number of coins collected during races, which is a tedious process at times. The last disappointment is that, unlike Sonic & All Star Racing on the Wii U, a local multiplayer session can not allow one player to play viewing the Gamepad and the other(s) to view the TV screen; the off screen mode is all or nothing. Overall, Mario Kart 8 is a great Kart racer and an enjoyable multiplayer experience.

Bought this for my kids and they love it. whats funny is I haven't played mario cart since Nintendo 64 and they have some tracks from then. It's fun for all of us.

Nintendo did a great job with this one. The classic tracks look gorgeous and the new ones are original and challenging. Gameplay is as good as usual Lots of fun.

This by far is way better then Mario Kart Wii. Almost as good as Double Dash. I have spent hours playing this online and with friends. A fun time had by all.

This Mario Kart game has great graphics and is fun to play with others. Online game play is offered, I personally enjoy playing with others in the same room.
