In usual tradition, Mario Kart 8 continues to be a game great for all types of gamers, those who are serious and play all the time, and those who are just casual gamers. I am a casual gamer, and either prefer great story lines or multiplayer family games. My husband, a hard core gamer, likes this game just as much as I do!

I am glad I purchased this game. This is real upgrade from Mario Kart 2 in terms of resolution and graphics, playing online is fun too.

Haven't played this game since trading in our original Wii for a Wii U. Graphics are much better and it is a great game for the family

The images spek for themselves. Each new version outdoes the previews one. Toms of fun to play as it can get very competitive. Love it.

I have been a die hard Mario Kart fan since the SNES. This one doesn't disappoint. The best reason to own the Wii U yet, maybe the only reason.

Youngest age 5. She can actually finish mario kart 8, whereas she had problems with mario kart for wii. Great fun enjoyed by our whole family!

This game is great for the whole family. Nintendo has always been good with that. It challenges everyone from the beginner all the way to the expert player. Online play is very smooth and competitive. Co-op online play and local play is very smooth as well. Customization of the karts is phenomenal and character selection is immense. The races are never the same and always presents a unique challenge. The computer "players" are difficult even in 100cc. I've enjoyed this game very much the past couple of weeks and look forward to much more.

It's Mario Kart! What's not to love about this game. I hope the Wii U gains some momentum b/c the first party titles are solid, such as this.

Very blown away by this. Absolutely gorgeous visuals, innovative tracks and with the DLC you can get an additional 1/2 a game for $10.

Overall, this game is really spectacular. It has great graphics, and there is a nice variety of courses and items. I have a lot of friends that don't really care for nintendo games, but get extremely engrossed in this game when I bring it out. My only complaint is that I wish there was even more content to enjoy and I miss the battle arenas for battle mode.

Mario Kart remains one of my favorite games. I enjoy the banter while racing with my kids, and we all enjoy a game we can play together.

My family and I enjoy the game immensely, having been fans of the series since the SNES. This is a great addition and update to the series.

The whole family spent the first couple of nights playing this game. It is easy enough to play that my 4 year old daughter can play it.

the game looks amazing in HD. Dont forget to grab a couple extra controllers or your just gonna have to make a extra trip to the store.
