This is by far the best Mario Kart game ever made. Graphics are a huge step up and the game play and world design are very well made.

Got this for my nephew.. He was counting the days down until it came in also got a free 10. Gas card with it he says the best game ever...

Don't hesitate. This is amongst the best games you can buy for the Wii U. If you liked previous Mario Kart games, this is a must buy.

Another great sequel from Nintendo. Love being able to race karts vs. bikes vs. 4-wheelers. And to be able to race Mercedes is great.

This is a great modern update of the Mario Kart Franchise. They added in online multiplayer with up to 16 players. Very nice addition. Gameplay is very smooth and solid. Definitely a must buy if you have a Wii U. With the lack of WII U games it was impressed to finally see a solid title show up for this system.

The new Mario Kart 8 is great fun for all! The new tracks and refreshing to see and experience. The new and improved online multi-player works much better than the previous release on Mario Kart 7. Although the new game experience is awesome I found it rather easy to win the races in first place to unlock the new Characters, Karts and upgrades for the vehicles. Despite my opinion of being somewhat easy my 9 year old son does struggle with it. I would highly recommend the new Mario Kart 8 as it is one your family will enjoy.

This is awesome! Probably the best game in the series. Much better than the Wii version. Makes the decision to pick up a Wii U easy!

This mario kart lets you earn the cups while playing with friends. Has a ton of characters to unlock. Also a lot customization for your bike/cart/atv. Nothing is really better than another, just find what works for you. The computer catch up still isnt fair, but that also might make this game more challenging.

Mario Kart 8 is an awesome game! It has beautiful graphics, and it offers so much anti-gravity fun! Perfect for family and friends!

I love the ability to play with just the tablet. I think they did a wonderful job on the retro stages and the vehicle customization is really interesting. However, some aspects are very underwhelming. The lack of original battle stages and the ease of getting three stars are notable black marks for the series.

This is the best Wii U game. Period. It's beautiful to look at & listen to. The characters, while the line-up isn't great (Two Rosalinas!?!), the details & individual animations are top notch. If you want to see Mario's moustache flap in the wind and koopaling mohawks flatten based on how fast you're moving, you got it. The new & old tracks are georgeous but the old tracks have little new touches that take advantage of the new systems in the game. Antigravity is the new touted feature in MK8. There are places on each track where you switch to antigrav mode. It does 2 things: First it lets you drive on celings and walls. It's awesome driving on walls and creates new routes. It also changes cllision physics. Instead of crashing into other riders, collisions give speed boosts. A new strategy to rake advantage of. As far as weaknesses go, there's on to speak of. But it's a big one. No online chat and no in-game way to invite online friends to a race. Nintendo touted online racing as a major feature. It works and plays great, for sure, but to not including those MODERN online features makes the online mode feel old fashioned. There are other details to note, but they don't hurt the enjoyment much. You need to play this game.

Mario kart has the best online multiplayer on wii u. It is a lot of fun to play tournaments with your friends from around the world.

I played all the Mario Kart games, this one is as fun as any of them. Full of action, interactive levels, great new playable characters

If you love fun racing games, Mario Kart is the king of them all. Fast, frenetic, weapons, etc. This game is pure fun and crazy action.
