This game is a blast to play. Deep enough that it challenges me (online), yet simple enough that my kids can play. Highly recommend.

An excellent entry into the Mario Kart Family. The new tracks are a blast to play and the re-imaged classics are faster then originals.

Have airways loved the Mario kart games, this one is no exception. We love that they put old tracks from previous versions as well.

I bought this game for the kids. They LOVE it. I got a chance to see the maps and they're very fun to play. Definitely recommend.

Well maybe because I am a Mario Kart fan I have nothing but good things to say about it, but this game is awesome. Fun for me and fun for my 5 year old. Easy to learn how to handle controls and very graphically entrancing. I have been sad since it seems the F-Zero franchise has not been re-introduces for awhile but Mario Kart 8 has made the amends.

I mean, it's Mario Kart - it can't really be a bad game. That being said, there are some changes that, I feel, aren't good ones. The don't really effect game play that much they really just serve as minor annoyances. There's really no reason to skip this game. I will say, though, it's disappointing that all the characters from Mario Kart Wii don't appear in this. And who even plays as the koopalings? Basically all I said with all that up there is it's not the best Mario Kart, but it's still Mario Kart so it's awesome.

we really like the original Mario Cart, but this one is even better. The graphics are outstanding, new courses, cars and power ups!

Mario Kart 8 is a great racing car game for minor children who are not quite old enough for Need for Speed, Fast and Furious Showdown racing game etc. It allows my 7 year old son to feel like a big boy like his brother who is old enough to play the aforementioned racing games without making the game to mature for him. This game is definitely age appropriate, as well appropriate enough for the entire family to play together on family game night without it being to advanced for the younger players in the family.

So nice to finally get Mario Kart in HD. Looks fantastic. Love the new Karts, especially the motorbikes. LuigiDeathStare for the win!!

Mario kart just can't miss. Just take what was good, improve on it, give it better graphics, plus 1 on the title, and BAM, it's a hit.

This is my favorite Mario Kart in years. I've never gotten that into the handheld versions, and MK Wii was not up to par with 64 or Double Dash. 8 puts the series back on track (pun intended) with tons of characters, tracks, and options. My only complaint was the complete lack of Battle Mode-specific courses. Race tracks are not fit for battles.

I have always been a big fan of Mario Kart and I have to say that this Mario Kart game is probably the best one Nintendo has made.

So great to play this nostalgic game in beautiful graphics. The game play is fantastic and love the customization of the karts/bikes.

Deciding between this and splatoon for a gift, I went with this. It was a good choice as the whole family can play together.

It's the same great Mario Kart gameplay you know and love with enough new twists to keep it interesting. I even got my wife to play!

Bought this game for my granddaughter and she really enjoys the female drivers and her own character as well. My grown son and I compete against each other and have a blast. The 32 courses and 3 speeds offer challenges for players of any experience. Excellent game for the whole family regardless of age.
