This was another great installment of Mariokart. The races were fun, the levels imaginative and the vehicles plenty.

I've played many of the Mario Kart games over the years and this is by far my favorite. Great graphics and gameplay.

If you like the Mario Kart series, you'll enjoy this game. The HD Nintendo-style graphics look good (smooth and crisp); The gameplay is entertaining, and depending on the level you play at can be challenging. There aren't a huge amount of tracks, but there are new tracks and old favorites. The highlight of this game for me (And ultimately it's downfall) was the online functionality. It's easy enough to set up a private match with friends, and the match settings can be tweaked to play the way you like. Unfortunately, chat functionality is only available between matches while in the lobby. This defeats the fun of trash talking to your friends during races (my friends and I work around this by setting up an xbox party and chatting on that while playing MK). The game also recycles the race maps, using them for battle mode. In past MK games, battle mode had smaller, more up-close-and-personal tracks. These larger tracks are fun, and battle mode is certainly not unplayable with these tracks, but sometimes you do find yourself searching for a target longer than expected. Overall...good game.

This is by far the best Mario Kart game made to date. The graphics, charactors, and all around gameplay is awesone.

Super Mario Cart 8 is pretty fun. The graphics are nice on the Wii U, and it's challenging enough to be fun.

What's not to love? It's beautiful, engaging as ever with a few new tricks (amiibo bonuses). Great party game.

This game is fun for everyone. Family and friends once you start playing the game it is so exciting and fun that it's hard to quit. Everyone enjoys choosing their own character and their opponent ! They save each game played against another person or just their self. Each game challenges you on a different level once you conquer the level your presently on. There are many levels to conquer. Once you start playing you loose all since of time. It's habit forming fun.

Great game solo, but is amazing with friends, even people who don't really like racing (me) love this game!

This reminds me of playing to original Mario Kart on the SNES. Brings back all of the fun I missed as a kid!
