Drove me to finally buy a Wii U

Amazing graphics, interesting track design (especially on the Mount Wario track), nice selection of retro tracks. Online play is chaotic as ever. Between each class, there is a marked step up in the aggressiveness of the other drivers. At 150cc, they are out for blood. Makes it fun. Compatible with about any controller configuration you can think of. I do miss two things from the Wii version. You can no longer stockpile a second weapon while trailing a weapon (totally changes my strategy), and the blue shell now slides along the track instead of flying overhead. This game is a must have for any Wii U owner. It is a system seller, case in point. Looking forward to the upcoming DLC.

The best racing in any Mario Kart game to date

The game gets high marks in EVERYTHING except for one and that's battle mode. While it's still playable, it's a shell of its formal self as there are no dedicated maps/stages for the mode and instead you are forced to play on race tracks. All in all, buy this for your Wii U.

Staying true to Mario Kart, this game is awesome!

I got it the day it came out and it didn't fail to amaze me. The courses are fun and the updated races from previous Mario Karts look amazing. Get this game or else you will be sad, very very sad for a long time....Don't let that happen!
