Mario Kart 8 is for everyone who loves racing. It is easy to play and good to play with friends and family, whether locally or online. Mario Kart 8 is the first of its series to be in high def. Recommended for anyone.

I thought it was impossible to surpass the Mario Kart (wii) game that came out in 2008. But, I was pleasantly surprised by Nintendo, again. Nintendo is adding extra tracks for a fee now. I wish they were free.

I was so looking forward to this game, I had to buy it on the day it came out. And it did not disappoint. I love the variety carts/bikes you can put together; there are so many different play styles and cart can be designed a specific tracks needs. With so many different tracks, your choice may be great for one track, but not so great for the next. The only thing I miss from the previous version is the ability to pop-a-wheely and get a speed boost on bikes. The items/weapons added are fun also.

Mairo Kart 8 delivers a great game once again to the Nintendo Wii U. The number karts & bikes to choose from is far better than games in the past, plus with the glider for those newer courses is an exceptional tool.

LOVE it! My 4 year old can't put it down, and I can't either and I'm almost 40. What does that tell you! It's easy, yet challenging. Nintendo is fighting it's way back, and I couldn't be happier! this is a Must Buy!

This is a great addition to our recent Wii U purchase. My grandson and I have a great time racing against each other. The courses are fun and the character animations are hilarious. Great program for all ages.

Good fun for the family...plenty of things to unlock, do, see, and try. Good combination of team play as well as everybody for themselves. Love the old tracks from prior releases (except the rainbow tracks...).

A fun and interactive game for all ages. My son loves the game and so do his friends. I also enjoy it.

If you are unfamiliar with the series, it is a lot of fun. The racing is not super technical, but the controls and level design are top notch. This has the best graphics by far in the series and lots of tracks.

My wife and kids have lots of fun with the game. They enjoy the balloon battle mode. I prefer the racing mode and overall I think the game is alright. The game was purchased for the kids and they love it.

My kids love this game. They've played several earlier versions of Mario Kart, going back until they were probably 6 and 9 years old, and even now when they are 17 and 20, they love this newest version.

A ton of fun to play with friends and family. Mario Kart is always a must buy and this one is no exception. If you love the past games or are looking for a fun and unique racing game, this is the game for you.

This is 100% the best game on the WiiU. You must add this to your library. It's hours upon hours of fun times. Also, the DLC content for this game is totally worth it. Get this as well, you won't regret it!

I really liked that the customization of the game, as you could chose the chassis, the wheels, and the glider ability of the vehicles. The downloadable content was pretty good too. SILVER ARROW ALL THE WAY!

This is pretty much the same game you've played many times before... It looks shinier now though!

The new Mario Cart 8 is a great game for the whole family. Just as enjoyable as the the seven.

For those fans of Mario kart this is a great game with tons of fun,items,cars,characters but they could add more scenarios and game modes for a perfect Mario kart game, don't get me wrong, you can add more...but you have to pay about 12 bucks more for a game that already cost at least 55. Regardless everything this is a superb choice for all ages, mario kart 8 won't disappoint you...just the feeling that it could be perfect .

Fun game to play with friends and family! Still not better then the old Nintendo 64 versions.

Kiddo had a great time with this one. Only problem is that it only lasted him a day or two. The only way to unlock cars, characters, etc is to continue to replay the same races over and over again. He still has fun playing the game with other people, but because there is no story or any type of missions he "finished" the main part of the game and now doesn't play it as much as maybe smash bros or another game.

its a fun racing game for everyone. The learning curve is minimal, and it can make for a fun impromptu game party. Also, purchased the additional content which makes it a bit pricy, but worth the money.
