Love this game. Being to play against other players all over the world is fun. Only downfall is that I wish you can type what you want to say t other players, instead of only having the limited choices.

This game is fun to play with your kids or even with your spouse! We had a blast as a family!

The game is beautiful, tracks are well designed, and runs smoothly. The selection of characters leaves a little to be desired but the biggest issues are item distribution and the extreme difficulty of coming back if you fall to 5th or more (which the item issue contributes to.) I really wanted to love this game but it's as frustrating as it is fun.

Mario Cart 8 is the best cart to date. Only problem would be having to buy the extra tracks.

This was the most fun Wii U game I had, but I wish it had more replayability. Not just maps, but gamemodes are severely lacking. Luckily children love repetition so I think they'll be very happy.

Mario Kart hasn't changed. This is very similar to the Wii version, but with more advanced features like online play. Very exciting to play with your friends when you're stuck at home for whatever reason.

Played this game for two weeks and I am very happy with it. I even got the WII U steering wheel along with the game for my kids. We enjoy playing this game allot. Wish Nintendo would of got it out sooner

This is a generally good game. Tons of fun when the family decides to get together to race.

My husband bought me my WiiU for Christmas and one of the games that came with it was this. I loved Mario Kart for the Nintendo 64 and I feel like I get to relive that love in a more immersive racing experience that is Mario Kart 8. All the same great characters, and more, on remastered classic courses and refreshing new ones too. We also love being able to play with up to 8 of our friends online at the same time.

Was glad I got it for sale, but great game so would have gotten it full price regardless

If you like kart racing games, this is the best one. I would compare this to modnation racers. Unfortunately the battle mode is not as good as the past versions but the racing picks up the slack.

Bought for my 3 year old. He loves it. When i play woth him we do multiplayer locally and online. All modes modes work without any issues. Recommended for any mario fan looking for a fresh wii u title.

Mario Kart 8 is a very detailed game including the environments, characters, and sound effects. Shows the true potential of the Wii U and why Nintendo's first party games make me enjoy owning a Wii U.

It is a very fun game, it has improved since the last version we had on the previous wii.

This game is exactly what I was expecting and I love that. I wanted the classic Mario Kart but updated. That's what this is. The levels are exciting with the new parachutes and gliders and the twisted floors. One thing though, we have found it is much easier to play if you have the gamepad or a pro controller. The wheels look cool but they take a lot of getting used to so you aren't likely to do as well using one.

This is an incredible game, it feels old and new at the same time, with the same characteristics of past Mario Karts, but with incredible fast-paced action that let you yell and laugh a lot. Amazing game for solo, for parties, local tournaments, or to play online (by yourself or you can bring and invite). For a veteran on Mario Kart games (since MK64), I must say this one surprised and gave the joy I felt with the N64 one when I was a kid. The music is amazing.
