Online play is flawless. No lag, no bad connections. Mario Kart 8 continues to be the best and gets better with every entry in the series. I hope Smash Bros. on Wii U has flawless online this time!

Mario kart just never gets old and this one is one of the bests. With flying carts and so much customization it's really fun. I'm an adult and me and my friends take this game seriously.

this game is fun and easy to naviagte it is just like but upgraded form the original

I bought this game for my brother on the release date and have played it every day since the purchase. I'm not usually interested in playing video games but I really enjoy this one. Some negatives are the lack of original battle stages (the race tracks are used as battle stages.) Fewer options if you want to adjust your gameplay. The selection of characters could be better. Other than that it's a great game!

Mario cart 8 continues the Mario cart tradition with some great added tracks and features. Features that provide some new challenges while keeping the game very similar to past versions.

If you liked Mario Kart Wii, it is very likely that you'll also enjoy this game. The new changes that have been made allow for more interesting courses without feeling like too much of a gimmick. The graphics look clean - and are definitely an upgrade from the previous two consoles. On Kart Wii, I used the Wiimote + Nunchuck control scheme with Manual steering. Using that same setup, I felt completely at home in this game. I have only found two downsides so far that bother me in any way. The first is that the course map and player positions can only be displayed on the Wii-U controller screen. This doesn't work well when there are more than a couple of people playing. Secondly, in four player VS. racing, the system has fairly obvious trouble (decreased frame rate) keeping up with the processing requirements. That makes any sort of precision steering very difficult to maintain as compared to single or two player modes.

My kids really enjoy this game. Great graphics and easy to use controls. This game has something for everyone.

I've always enjoyed Mario Kart. Different levels of difficulty for all ages and skill levels. Add elements are fun. Antigravity isn't as noticable of experience. Slow motion replays are good fun.

Got this game for my little brother, who is a Mario Kart fan, for his brother and he loves it! Its not hard to imagine he wouldn't considering this takes up 50% of his time on the WiiU

Great new mario kart that everyone will enjoy. Takes from the old and brings in the new.

Mario Kart is always a good time and this rendition for the wii u is no different.

Anyone who loves Mario Kart will love this game. It brings aspects of every version of mario kart from the First version on the Snes, to 64, to doubledash. You will regret passing this game up.
