I bought this as a Christmas present for my nephew and they love the game a lot.

Beware: This game can ruin friendships and families. Not intended to be played when minors are around because it can be a cuss-inducing game especially online. LOL! Awesome game!

MK8 is what will save the Nintendo Wii U. This title alone got people wanting to know and willing to buy Nintendo's latest gen console. Being a Nintendo fan forever, I already had owned the WiiU and was buying MK8 anyways. That said MK8 uses the system's hardware to its maximum. The graphics are drop dead gorgeous. The sound and controls are Nintendo's finest. The tracks and characters are numerous with multiple DLC to come. A must own.

We have owned several of the previous installments of Mario Kart, but this one has turned into a family favorite. It is the one video game we let our son play on family game night

Super Mario 8 is great entertainment for the kids as well as the adults!

Would definitely recommend, especially if you've played other versions on the N64 and other platforms. Tons of variety. Reasonably difficult to master, but fun for novices too.

Mario Kart keeps getting better and better Only game I still play on the WII U

I've played most of the games in the Mario Kart series and as far as I'm concerned this one is the best. Each of the courses has some kind of neat gimmick, and the game's artists really outdid themselves in showing off the graphical difference between Wii U and the original Wii. I also LOVE the ability to post replays to Miiverse, because they are hilarious. If you have a Wii U and even sort of like Mario Kart, this is a must-buy.

This was a great addition to my Wii U library. At first I wasn't particularly interested in another Mario Kart game, but I checked it out based on the reviews and I don't regret it

Kinda wish they did more for single player mode. Didn't really care much about the Battle Mode. Wished they took away Battle Mode and focuses more on single player mode and story.

this is by far the best Mario kart racer to date. I highly recommend.

One of the better entries in the MK series. Not sure if its because of the new tracks or "old" ones but we all have a good time racing. A must have if you have a WiiU.

This (and the upcoming Smash Bros.) is exactly what the WiiU needs to be successful. Amazing graphics and super fun gameplay make this a MUST HAVE if you own a WiiU. It also makes the WiiU a must buy if you don't have one yet. My kids and I have a great time playing Mario Kart 8 together. Great work Nintendo! Finally a reason to turn the WiiU back on after it being neglected in favor of our Xbox One and Playstation 4.

If you are a Mario Kart fan over the years, than this game is a must.
