Challenging yet fun and lots of fun graphics. Lots of new courses too

The controls of this most current mario kart seem like the best yet. the new characters and customization options of the kart, wheels, and parachute are great. lots of fun.

My 10 year old really wanted this game but after he got it he didn't play it very long. He says he likes it but he doesn't seem to play it anything like he does with his Disney infinity but still comes back to it once in awhile.

Mario Kart 8 is a must have for any wii u owner. My only complaint is that item boxes tend to be a little unfair. Perfect example would be constantly getting gold coins.

Love these games. I just wish nintendo produced more games like this. They make great games when they put their mind to it, they just don't seem to be such hard workers.

My daughter and I love racing each other. The choice of different racetracks make the game really exciting! When her friends are over they race for hours on end!

Nintendo keeps on improving this classic kart racer. My son and I have always enjoyed Mario Kart and this one does not disappoint. Amazing new powwr ups like a boomerang among others and improved HD graphics I. The slick Wii U makes this a must have if you own a Wii U. It is a great muli player game as well as a online game. This game is the ultimate kart racing game as only Nintendo knows how to make. It's fun and challenging at times but not to the point of frustration. The game always keeps me coming back to play so that I can get to the next level and see what new surprises and wonders await. The vehicles control like a dream and the graphics are superb. There is no other current-gen kart racing game that even come close.

It's a great game for kids 7-12! Very competitive! My kids love it!

Gorgeous game, 32 tracks, dozens of characters, fun multiplayer game and plays great online. There are also more characters, karts, and 16 more tracks to be added in 2014 and 2015 as downloadable content for about $13 total. The battle mode included in the game is a disappointment, but racing on the 32 tracks is a lot of fun and the game has so many things going for it that this game is easy to recommend.

Fun game and easy to play as the rest of the games in the series.
