Mario Kart 8 is not only one of the best looking games on Wii U, it's one of the best games on the system now. The game is so simple to learn and really great for beginners playing alone or with friends. It also adds a ton of depth for those used to Mario Kart games of the past. Playing to unlock characters adds challenge with each new cup, and the game has an online mode that's so easy to jump into and play with others around the world if you want to test your skill. If you are new to the series or haven't played one of the newer games, this is the perfect game to grab. If you own a Wii U you owe it to yourself to not pass this one up. It's hours of fun playing against the computer, your friends, people online, and mostly challenging yourself to get better. Plus it's gorgeous. I wasn't sure that I would like this game as much as some of the others, but it has quickly become one of my favorite Mario Kart games. It is so easy to control, and offers a variety of ways to control it as well. I tend to play for a good stretch of time and then keep telling myself "one more game" over and over before I am able to pull myself away. It mixes racing with the fun world of Mario, making it unique in every way. What are you waiting for? Go for it.

We have three generations playing it. We all have a great time. They are coming out with more WII U games that interest the whole family.

Have owned every mario kart since 64 and this was so much fun. It renovated old tracks from every system and put a new spin on them.

I gave this game to my 9 year old grandsons and, after a couple months, they still love it and will play it until forced to stop.

Great continuation of the cart series however it could use more tracks and more items to use as weapons against the other competitors.

This is the game that should have launched with the wii u. This game is very addictive. Classic Nintendo. My wii u was collecting dust until this game came out. It showcases what wii u could be and it shows that this console is not dead and can more than handle its own against xbone and ps4. This is a classic game that is just a blast to play.

This game is awesome, and the whole family loves it. Ages 3-34 lol, although the 3 year old runs into walls she still loves it.

Excellent addition to the high successful Mario Kart franchise. Fun to play with my 5 year old nephew and to play by myself.

My kids love it...great graphics, sound, and everything...game can be unfair, however, as with past MK games...nothing like being hit right before you cross the finish line and instead of finishing first, you finish 4th, 5th, 6th, or worse...overall a really fun game!!!
