Even if you don't have anyone to play with you, you can play online with the multiplayer feature and have lots of fun! The karts and characters are quite diversified and account for speed, acceleration, and handling of the kart.

Still Fun for All Ages

The game has a good mix of new courses with updated classic courses. Minus one star because newer cups have to be purchased from the eShop.

Great game for young and old

The bright colors and sounds keep their attention. I have caught my grandson asleep with the controls still in his hand. They never get board and are so excited when they complete a stage. Old or young this game has something for everyone.

Mario Kart To The Extreme

There really wasn't a game out there that made me consider the Wii U until Mario Kart 8. Mario Kart 8 is by far the best iteration of this game. The graphics are stunning. The audio soundtrack is awesome. The offline play is challenging. This game gives me my racing fix.
