Awesome and fun... well as long as you have more than one cart. This is an expensive game when you break down the mechanics. $100 per cart and the game download is free. Multiple people can’t play at the same time unless they also have a cart which they would have to purchase themselves and also have a switch of their own to play on while both people ate doing a coplay. So now this $100 game has a price tag of almost $850 between the cost of two switches and two of these carts. With that aside, the mechanics of the game are pretty awesome. We purchased one of each as we already have several switches and thought these would become excellent collectors items in the future for the nostalgia. The Turing radius on these are pretty awesome and the whole idea of the game is pretty fun. The cameras are decent, not the best, and we’ve learned that it’s near impossible to play in a dim lit room as for some reason the camera blurs out things in proximity of the cart. We’ve had the issue of walls not being visible and the cart smacking into it or if the other cart is in front, the camera doesn’t notice and blurs it and we end up with an accident mid race. The cardboard cutouts that come with the game are pretty sturdy but need to be held down by any foreign object while in gameplay so you won’t mess up the track if it gets hit during gameplay. The carts are also sturdy and hold up very well. They’ve taken a few hits and so far there are no damages or scratches. There’s also an issue with WiFi functionality and the Bluetooth of the cart. This makes making large tracks a little tricky as you can’t build outside of the radius which seems to be pretty small so this is limiting and kind of a bummer. Overall, this game is neat in concept and could have been a lot better of an idea. Would love to see Nintendo release carts so you could collect them all instead of having to purchase the entire kit. Also would not recommend this game to people or families with several kids unless they buy more than one cart or you’re gonna be pretty bored and I’m sure there will be arguments.

Game is tons of fun especially if you have karts to race against each other.

Bought this and the Mario one as well for my grandson's. My son and I also have a set and we just love them so we knew they would too.. Ur home is the track but the cars handle so well in the handheld game on the Switch that u have no worries about dings in ur furniture. Hoping for more characters to come out in the future such as Yoshi, Toad, Bowser, and the Princess.

This is so much to play, especially with another Kart to race against you.

Works well but make sure you have enough space in your living room.
