Mario Kart World is fun but not worth $80 IMO. Personally, racing games get boring real quick. The only reason I even purchased this was Best Buy forced me to do so I would be able to buy their bundle. I played through the 50cc race campaign so far and it was fun but I don't see myself playing for much longer, unless with friends. Nintendo is a little wild charging $80 for this.

I honestly prefer Mariokart 8 Deluxe. Honestly. The anti-gravity mechanic is cooler than the grind mechanic. The tracks are fine. I will say that it is still Mariokart. If you've enjoyed past games in the series, you will enjoy this one. Just lower on the all-time list for me amidst an all-time series.

The game overall is very entertaining and enjoyable, especially with my friends. But like everything else it’s not perfect. The long stretches of road that take up 2 out 3 laps per race is bad enough. There being no official way to simply play normal 3 laps race online is quite disappointing and brings this game down.

If youre a Mario Kart lover there is no doubt that youll enjoy this title.

Fun game for family! Nintendo always goes to next level with mario game

In my years of playing Mario Kart, I've never been this excited about playing it. It usually is just straight forward, but this. This game lets you explore the entire map. All the levels, all the courses, opened and connected to each other.

It's not Mario Kart 8, so if you want the more traditional kart racer get that one. If you want something new and really like chill, a relaxing kart racing game try this one

A great new installment into the series and, honestly, a drastic change which was honestly the only way I was going to buy a new Mario Kart game (they were getting pretty stale IMHO). The music is great, too. That said, if it wasn't the only major launch title I would never have bought it for $80, personally.

Really fun variation on a great series but i do have a problem with the hazy background. I just don't understand nintendo doing this as they have done other games like this.

Mario Kart World is a good game but flawed, first no matter what I did on the highest speed the CPU somehow had the right items at the right time. Also the shelf life for a single player player is low because eventually youll get fed up with the A.I., do I reccomend it yest but with those caveats.

"Open world" kart racing has never been so fun! Hate those blue turtle shells!! LOL
