Modern RPG Mario - Not For Me

Being a Mario title did not help save the format. Ultimately, I would have preferred a platformer game. I suggest watching some gameplay videos before you decide to purchase this game. You may be like me and just not like RPG games.

Caution with Best Buy ordering reliability

Feel lied to and bad service

Every time I ask for my money back I was promised to come back to the store and they would have them ready for me. After three times I gave up and ask for my money back. The lady who was helping me called other lady over to do the return on the game. She somehow misunderstood i wanted to return preorder pins i didn't get. She gets frustrated at me as i keep telling her i need to return the game. After she realizes i was returning the game she chilled out a bit. I found this whole experience a waste of gas money and bad services. I could have preorder at one of the other stores for q different preorder item and i would have got it.

BORING

I’m no stranger to long JRPGs but this game is about 15 hours longer than it needs to be. I stopped doing side quests halfway through because everytime you completed part of the story (really stupid and boring and unengaging by the way) you’re given 6 pointless fetch quests. NPC design is really stupid and ugly. Islands are all boring and bland. And the biggest sin of all for a Mario/nintendo game….completely forgettable soundtrack. I’d rather play Mario RPG for the 600th time than ever EVER play this horrible game ever again

A fun, funny, if slow to start return
