Fun for everyone

A bit different from previous Mario party in that everyone is in one car traveling together as opposed to individually. But still, the boards are creative and the mini games are fun. You can also play the original style but you will need an amiibo.

The mini games are very fun, but they don't pop up as often as you would like. There is not enough strategy and too much chance involved in this version.

Old dog with not so good tricks

It is entirely possible to play through the entire board having only played a couple mini games. The mini games however are the game's strong point as they should be.
