This was bought for my grandsons age five and three. They love the game! I highly recommend Mario party for the children. It’s a good go to game for them to play. They both enjoy the game immensely.

If you've been waiting for a Mario Party game in the vein of the classics without all the gimmicks (e.g., no moving around the board on a shared vehicle, no "allies", no grid-based boards, etc.), Mario Party Superstars is for you. While it only has five boards, which are all from Mario Party 1, 2, and 3, they are some of the most fun and memorable boards (Peach's Birthday Cake and Horror Land are standouts). It has countless minigames from Mario Party 1 through 10, and you will not find yourself repeating the same minigame two or three times in one game like in Super Mario Party. This game is also built from the ground up for online multiplayer, and making rooms, inviting friends, and saved games in case of disconnects are huge advances from Super Mario Party. However, if your Internet is poor or your WiFi signal is spotty, you may want to utilize a wired LAN connection to your Switch (USB-to-LAN adapter required for older Switch models). The game could use more extras and customizations (e.g., more boards, more music choices within the boards, costumes, more characters), but overall, it is a return to form for Mario Party. Let's hope Nintendo keeps up the great work in future iterations.

Fun game for the whole family easy to play and has fun mini games.

Graphics are much improved and lots of mini games to keep the party going for multiple games.

My wife and I are happy with this game we have the first Mario Party that was released for the switch. They are both good in their own ways. There are somethings I wish you could have like they had in the Super Mario Party, for example the custom dice that each character had was a cool option that they do not have in this. I understand these are original maps so the game play will play like the original games.

I’ve always loved the Mario Party games, but this one takes the cake! Weather playing alone or with 4 players Mario Party Superstars is a great return to the mushroom kingdom, featuring over 100+ mini games from past Mario Party titles that’ll have you playing for hours on end!!
