Overall the game is fun, it just lacks a reward system which incentivizes the player to keep playing or “grind”. online play is a bit laggy, even with a 500mbps WiFi connection.

Memories Were Better

The nostalgia helped, but there is just so little content here that I can't bring myself to recommend this unless you only want a small selection for those moments you want to throw a party and relive good memories.

Great for Kids...

Not so much for the adults looking to rekindle their childhood rivalries. Playing against just friends is good, but Nintendo provided absolutely zero new content in the form of DLC or updates. It gets stale quite fast. Increasing AI difficulty just makes them very "lucky" in the sense that they always roll exactly what they need to win. Not a lot of fun.
