Great for non-gamers

Hidden gem in plain sight
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This game gets overlooked mostly due to it's over-the-top cartoony Over-world. The battles are fantastic, especially after getting past World 1 which unlocks co-op mode. Once you start unlocking things, the battles become addictive. Unfortunately the overworld parts of the game just feel out of place and unpolished (bad camera angles). The Donkey Kong DLC (sold separately or part of the "gold edition") gives the game new life but IIRC you must beat the the main campaign first.

Great For all ages!

Odd Combo but it works

Not the Mario we're used to
