The gameplay is pretty redundant but very addicting. XCOM style is what truly wins here. The visuals are beautiful and surprising for what Switch can output. Classic thinker-shooter. As repetitive as the game is, you constantly want to move forward to unlock new weapons and try them out in new worlds. Worth the money.

Bought this for my grandson's birthday and it was a huge hit! He was thrilled at the sight of it and couldn't wait to get home to play. His mom reported he is having the best time playing with it and so are his parents!!

It is a new take on Mario but a good one. Instead of button smashing this Mario is more about puzzle solving and strategy. Power up different Mario and Rabbit characters to take on the bad guys and save the world. Use your wits to figure out how to best use your characters in a step by step (turn based) fashion.

Who thought this would work out so great? I never thought the rabbids and mario would be such a great combination!

Unique Mario game, while I am more familiar with the more classical mario games this was a bit different. Instead of hand to hand combat mario and his allies have arm cannons to battle their foes. It is a kid friendly versus of army of two or other similar games where you use cover and attack.

I bought this on sale for $20. Absolute steal of a price. I bought it with the intention of myself actually playing and getting time with it, but my wife has taken over. It is a great strategy game that will keep you engaged and entertained. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

This game has not been played because I purchased it as a Christmas gif, but it was an incredible price that I couldn’t pass up and I know it’s going to be awesome because there were so many good reviews, and it’s Mario!

We bought this on sale and my husband and daughter are super excited to play this game. My 7 year old daughter likes to watch my husband maneuver around the game and also attempt to play it although she's still working on her hand-eye coordination.

In what should be a disaster of a game hides one of the best strategy games for children. This is my daughter's first strategy game and she is loving it. I played it as well and I was pleasantly surprised by a deep fun game. It's starts extremely easy, but then it picks up and becomes an actual challenge.

Reminds me of how super mario rpg introduced me to turn based rpgs when i was a kid, this is a newbie friendly introduction to turn based strategy combat as seen in games like X-COM. There is tons of content here with a long campaign, plenty of unlockable weapons and characters.

I actually had low expectations for this game, really thought it was going to be boring, I just wanted another game to play so figured what the heck. turns out I was wrong! This is a great addition to the Nintendo catalogue. First time I have played this genre of game (turn based strategy) an d it has me hooked.

You owe it to yourself to play this game. I was mainly concerned that the game would be too easy but it just isn't the case. Surprisingly challenging and fun. It is also very good on content and it will definitely have you laughing. A very fun and heartwarming game that I always look forward to playing. Buy it!

Most Mario games are great. No different with this current Mario game. A great twist with the gameplay. I got this on sale and definitely enjoying the game. I can't wait for the sequal. A great game to buy for a gift.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is a delightful and surprisingly deep strategy game that every Switch owner would be wise to play. Almost similar to an X-Com game with regards to gameplay. Simplified and mashed up with Mario characters and Rabbids. It is an odd mix but it absolutely works!

Mario and Rabbid's is more akin to X-Com than any Mario game you'll have played in the past, and is an amazing jumping point into the genre of strategy games similar to X-com. Definitely worth a play whether you've put hundreds of hours into similar games, or this is your first of it's kind.

Good game. Fun. Happy. Not sad. Play but don’t play with matches.

We can’t enough of the Mario universe, but this game took some time to grow on us. We do enjoy it, and it is fun and playable for all ages, it just isn’t the same speed as other Mario games. After my daughter got the hang of it, it was def a fun and engaging family friendly game.

I have three boys, two that are 13, and one that is almost 4. They LOVE MARIO!!! My youngest needed some help learning it but man they all love it and shockingly take turns in each of their Nintendo Switches!

Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle contains characters from Nintendo's classic games along with characters in the Ubisoft Rabbids world. The result is a creative and excellent strategy title that is perfect to go on the Switch. The game play is very similar to the XCOM strategy games.

Pretty self explanatory title and if you like 2 out of the 3 things you might love this game. Around the end of the world 2 the game gets super challenging which is welcome. Well worth the money as there are bonus challenge missions and things to find after the 4 worlds. Cut scenes are absurd and top notch.
