Extremely surprised by how addicting and fun this game is; difficult strategy game in the Mario world; difficult to get better than that!

Bought it on a whim and its possible one of the best switch games that I have played in a while. simple mechanics that can end up being deep in strategic planning. Love the goofiness and wish it had more levels. for the price I bought it, its definitely worth the purchase! highly recommend!

The game is a kid friendly version of X-COM in a Rabbids and Mario package. Very fun for anyone who enjoys turn based tactic gameplay.

Took awhile to get acquainted with the feel of the game. Not what I was suspecting. But, after the tutorial, it became pretty fun. A little repetitive but overall pretty fun.

This one really surprised me. Very entertaining game and the production values are top notch. May be to difficult for children however.

This game is a lot more fun than I would have given it credit. If you’ve played any of the rabbids game in the past, this is for you!

Sure it’s mario and xcom and who can argue against that, but there is plenty of charm and strategy to make this game stand on its own.

I had watched the gameplay on this a while back and didn’t think much of it. Went on a sale for Black Friday and needed a new game so figured I would give it a shot. It’s actually a pretty fun game, I like the familiar faces mixed with the goofiness of rabbids. And I love a good strategy game, so this was a pleasant surprise

Best Mario crossover since Puzzles + Dragons

The last thing I expected from this game was for it to actually be challenging and require me to think carefully about every single action I took lest I wanted to get wiped out. I haven't had that in a strategy game in a long time (big Fire Emblem and Super Robot Wars fan here), at this point most of them are really more about grinding your way to success than anything else (looking at you, Disgaea). That said I quickly realized that Mario + Rabbid Peach + Rabbid Luigi + skill resetting just about every time I got more orbs in order to min/max allowed me to cheese my way to victory with only the slightest of care given even without having to rely on "easy mode" and the thrill was gone. Having to solve stupid switch/block/fetch puzzles just to get from one battle to the next got pretty stale by the end too... but I found the graphics surprisingly good, all the Mario easter eggs revealed the depth of Ubisoft's admiration for the franchise, and blasting Rabbids remained satisfying all the way to the completion of the "Ultimate" post-game challenges. I didn't love the game enough to actually shell out more money for the Donkey Kong DLC, though, and woe be to anyone who got the season pass when this game came out considering how long it took them to release that... but when they inevitably release a gold/complete/GOTY/value/whatever edition that bundles the game and DLC I'd say that would probably be a pretty good proposition.

We bought this game for our 6 yr old son. He wasn't too fond of it, said it was a hard game to play. I tried playing and thought it was fun, definitely a little more advanced for him to play because you have to use strategy to get through the game. Overall I would say it's a great game for a little bit older players maybe 10 and up just because of the level of difficulty my son had in playing it.

While I was sick with Covid I played through this game and oh boy is it fun! The levels are creative the gameplay feels fresh and the in-game banter made it amazing. I wish it were a bit longer though, my only gripe with this game. Would replay it again however, great pickup for sure.

Got this game with Starlink and it is definitely worth the price. Great game, but takes a little getting used to. It is about strategy so if that is not your forte, then maybe stay away from this one. Parents, It it is not like most Mario games so make sure your child is going to like games like this.

When this game came out last year I was on the fence about buying it. I'm not a huge fan of turn based strategy games but this game delivers on what a great Switch game should be! After playing through the first world I got the game mechanics down and it is now one of my favorite Switch releases of 2017. The rabbid characters are funny and charming and the classic Mario characters allow this game to resonate with Nintendo fans. The new enemy types keep you constantly thinking and the boss battles are each unique. I really like puzzle games and collectathons and this game has that aspect as well. The nice thing is that once you finish a world and unlock a new ability you can go back and find all the hidden features without having to wait for a new ability from a future world. There is competitive and cooperative multiplayer included as well. I've played coop with my girlfriend and sometimes give her hints but for the most part she can take her turn without any help. With the current sale price I would recommend every Switch owner buy this if they like strategy games or like the Mario franchise. Really wish I would have picked this up sooner!
