I purchased Mario and Rabbids when it was on discount at Best Buy. Great game and I highly recommend it as the matches are perfect for portable play.

Bought this on a whim because the price was super low for a Mario title. It's honestly a blast. Turn based battle mixed with robust puzzle solving makes for a really entertaining system, and the weapon/character swapping possibilities ensures you want to keep playing to unlock new methods of winning the battles at hand. The rabbids have even won me over at this point. Looking forward to the forthcoming sequel!

At first I scoffed at the idea of the most annoying characters in the industry (I personally consider Rabbids the "Minions" of the video game world) being mashed up with some of the most classic, iconic and, in my opinion, tied for favorite characters in video game history. Not to mention the turn-based combat sub-genre sounded a little odd for Mario and/or first party Nintendo. But, after a ton of good to great reviews, I picked it up and was not disappointed. Of course, I haven't finished the game yet, but so far, the only department lacking significant substance is the story. Outside of that, the graphics, gameplay/mechanics and (foreseeably) replay are as solid as you could ask for.

Great tactical game. Also very funny. Good world building for a kids game. But also fun for the whole family.

Any Mario game is fun. This one is a turn based RPG of sorts and could be played by literally anyone. It’s super easy and full of typical Mario-non sensical fun that you’d expect.

I had a good time with Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle. It's like a Nintendo X-Com game. If you like those turn based strategy games you'll love this.

This is a nice change up on the original Super Mario formula. I thought it might not be fun, but I gave it a try and found out it's amazing.

Puzzle games are a blast, it is so fun to figure out the best possible combination of moves to use to perfect a certain level/stage. In this game, the computer interacts with the moves you take, making careful planning and thought that much more important. Also their is a co-op portion of this game that makes playing with someone else a blast. The customization feature is a nice added touch to bring uniqueness and variety to your specific copy of Marion + Rabbids. Highly recommend this neat crossover with our favorite plumber.

I had to admit. I wasn't sure about this collaboration but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. This game being a turn based RPG won me over. It has a UI that was easy to understand for me anyway and the characters and the scenarios gave me the feel of the Mario World i was familiar with. The graphics are excellent and I didn't see any lag. Mind you, this is more of a thinking game than an arcade game. Overall, especially for the price I paid which was under $20 qualifies it for 5 stars.

I see that it was a turn-based game before I got it but the little bit of it I've played so far has been very interesting. It's challenging and fun while blending Mario and Rabbids together.

Mario & Rabbids sounds like a weird combo, but this is somehow an excellent strategy game. The turn-based battles are similar to the new X-COM games, and they can be challenging, especially the boss fights. The game is very charming, and while I expected the Rabbids to be annoying, I actually found myself enjoying their shtick, especially Rabbid Peach. Once you get over any preconceived notion of what you think this game MIGHT be, you'll soon find it's a great strategy game, and a worthy addition to your Switch library

My grandsons loved this game. I love to shop best buy for the newest games. If my grandsons don't give me a name, I know the sales people at the store can help. They tell me about the games and make suggestions....that always turn out to be a hit.

I've played a number of strategy games ranging from FTL to Final Fantasy Tactics, XCOM to Fire Emblem, and many in-between. It definitely is cute, and has a depth to strategy that is often overlooked by the Rabbids and Mario on the cover. The slimming of cover mechanics to simple "will hit", "won't hit", and "might hit", with a flanking modifier added on top, really helps make the game move faster and reduces salt other games might deal with. Hoping for a sequel that brings in Rayman to the mix. Looking to get a buddy to help me out with some coop challenges too.

This game is fun and funny. But there is a point where you need to stop and ask yourself, with all they great games on the Switch is this a top 10? No. Is this a top 20? Maybe. But that is not a slight against this game, there are just that many great games on the Switch. If you like strategy games you will love this game, but I will say that everything between the battle was very forgettable for me. The story is good enough, no worse than any other Mario game. And the later game gets a bit challenging, but nothing too hardcore. At the price point that this game continuously pops up as, it is a no brainer to pick it up.
