Totally not what I expected but its still an good game to play and work thru the stages which gets harder as you play. Makes you think on your next move

This game is a nice mix of XCOM rts games and Mario/Rabbids. Definitely a unique experience and game is on sale regularly for under $20 bucks.

I was skeptical at first but me and my son have been playing this game alot. It's not easy to beat. Rabbids are pretty funny.

Considering that Nintendo let another company make a Mario game is a small miracle in itself, Metroid Other M and the CD-i Zelda games are the only other examples that come to mind. And that they made a solid entry in the series testifies to how versatile the X-Com game engine is. If you are interested in introducing kids or a significant other to tactical RPGs or strategy games in general, this is about the least imposing game imaginable. If you're an armchair general with a hankering for nostalgia you can't go wrong with this one.

My granddaughter who is 8 loves to play this game. She understands it very well. She will spend hours on it.

This game was surprisingly entertaining given the mixing of two different game franchises. This game is very strategic in terms of gameplay and very fun. It does a good job introducing the players on how to play by keeping things simple and getting more complex down the road. It has a good amount of gameplay length. Good for all ages. I would recommend this game to those that like strategy with Mario.

I was skeptical when this was announced, but the turn based aspect of it is very entertaining, and the game itself is quite challenging. I'm really enjoying it!
