This is an awesome game for owners of the Switch. It has the classic art style of a 3D Mario game mixed with the humor of a Rabbids title. The gameplay is definitely deep and engaging and allows for great customization of characters. How you prefer to play is up to you and the customization seems to allow that. The levels can be tricky, so planning strategies, reacting to different scenarios well and also a dash of luck can really help you along. The game offers some replayability, but not to an extent like Diablo or Mass Effect. Definitely a must buy for Switch owners!

A nice gateway game to introduce non gamers to games with Fire Emblem and XCOM mechanics. This is the only game of that type I can play that my wife who plays games on the level of candy crush and sudoku. Great fun and easy to understand. I'm not to fond of the plot but that's not why I bought it. Easy recommend as long as you're not looking for any epic storylines. Fun with some nice challenges.

This is a good game for strategy. Good for kids under the age of 12.

Look, we all know that XCOM is the greatest game series ever, and the modern reboot from Firaxis essentially revitalized the genre to the point that I can just describe a game as "XCOM-like" and be understood by most gamers. But XCOM isn't exactly ready to be handed to my friends' 8 year old kid. This is. I mean...it's Mario. But XCOM. But Mario. So just give it to your friends' kid. (Or your own kid.)

Oddly this combo of game worlds and gameplay styles works really well! Funny, excellent details, and just sheer fun.

I wasn't expecting to like this game when I first saw it. It looked strange and I could not figure out if it was a Mario game or a Rabbids game. After playing it, it's really neither as far as gameplay goes. This is a strategic role playing game. If you have played those before and have the patience, you will love this game. Mario Rabbids is a refreshing change of pace from the shooters and other types of games out there. Buy it and enjoy it!

When this game first released I was sceptical as it wasn't a traditional Mario game. I picked it up durring the Mar10 day sale and was supprised when I started playing it. A turn based strategy game with RPG elements that blends the Mario and Rabbids universe. It he Rabbits bring plenty of humor to the game and the story is pretty good so far. Multiplayer levels in the game unlock after you beat single player stages and are quite fun.

Graphics are beautiful and game is pretty fun! It’s a nice little game if you have that Super Mario rpg itch on the switch and can’t play Paper Mario or one of their rpg games. It’s very strategy based and it’s a lot like the X-Comm version of Mario and Rabbids. It’s a whole new way to play Mario and definitely worth a try! Overall it’s pretty fun but the rabbids theme can be annoying. I’m not sure why combine Rabbids universe with Mario? Still doesn’t make sense to me, but it’s a nice game for the Mario aspect.

Best Mario game I've ever owned. Hilarious story moments and well worth it

The game is fun, I bought this game to replace clash of clans. I have completed 30% of the game by the time I write this review. This game is 20 hours long and the DLC adds an additional 10 hours. If you Ike strategy games you may like this. I bought the game because mario has a gun take that however you want. The rabbids do not annoy me and some of the stuff had me chuckle.

I've had a switch since launch and I have purchased most big titles for the console and no game had really pulled me in like Zelda BOTW until this game came out. Absolute stunning graphics combined with triumphant music helps sell this game. Combat is fantastic as well as a player of other SRPG games such as Disgaea, Advance Wars, and Fire emblem matches are very unique and have a nice variety. I love this game and I think it is a must for all switch owners. 9/10

I got it for my boys who are 10 & 8. They really enjoy playing it. If your kids like strategy games, then they will like this.

I was confused when I first saw the crossover art for Mario + Rabbids, but after reading positive reviews, I gave it a go, and I'm glad I did. I'm not one for strategy, RPG games, but Mario + Rabbids is full of charm and I never felt like I was grinding. The visuals are bright and colorful, the Mushroom Kingdom gang looks beautiful, and the Rabbids are not annoying and had me laughing out loud. Definitely worth a go if you're on the fence!

I bought this for my son's birthday and it has turned out to be one of the best games of the year. Period. I absolutely cannot stand the Rabbids series by Ubisoft but this game ROCKS. It's XCOM, plus Mario, plus Rabbids humor (which is surprisingly funny in this game) all mixed together to make one of the best games of the year. Make sure you sign up for Best Buy's Gamers Club Unlocked as it will save you 20% on all new games. A MUST have for a gaming family :-)

This game has proven to be a hit in my home. Some of the concepts are harder to grasp for my child, but he is a bit younger.

I enjoyed this game much more than I thought I would. Can't beat $15 for black friday either. Story mode is fun and you will unlock more multi-player levels. It comes with 4 standard multi-player levels that can be played immediately, but you have to play the story mode to unlock more. You can power up your players, etc and save the Kingdom! Lots of fun. Highly recommend.
