This game is fun. It's very different to all the other Mario games, and I certainly wouldn't put it up there with the best games you can play on a Nintendo console, but it's a solid addition to your library for when you want to play something light and entertaining.

The 8 year old loves it. Great game and a great price

This game is literally XCOM + Mario, and its a surprising but great mixture. If you like strategy games, you will probably love this. Adding Mario into this is great. The Rabbids I could see being polarizing, I could tolerate their presence, but in an ideal world I'd rather this just have been Mario + XCOM, minus the rabbids.

The game is different in gameplay and more strategy in nature. It's fun and the mix of Mario universe and Rabbids is fun. It has its funny moments and take time to get used to this type of game. If you want Mario in a different type of game then you should pick this up. It's more slow paced if you aren't accustomed to the game play. I think it does have some reply value.

This strategy game was unexpected. I was going to pass until I saw good reviews. I must say, this is a lot if fun. The graphics are pretty, gameplay is easy enough for a strategy game and it varies enough to stay fresh. The difficulty later on may be harder for younger gamers, so that could be a knock on a game that would otherwise appeal to younger kids. If you are a fan of the Nintendo characters, you can't go wrong,

This game is a must-buy for anyone that enjoys strategy games. I haven't found myself laughing so hard at background animations in a game in a very long time.

Fun to play, kids love it and spent much time to play

It's a fun game! Easy but gets a bit harder as you play!

Regardless of how you feel about Mario or rpgs, this is a must have game. I would have bought a Nintendo Switch just for this if I didn't already own one, that's how good this game is, and it's by far one of the most unique AAA games to come out in a while on a console, and this is coming from someone who's heavily criticized Ubisoft for years now.

Game sounded strange and wasn’t sure what to expect. Turns out it was my surprise of the year and really exceeded my expectations at every turn. This feels like it was made by Nintendo despite it being developed by Ubisoft. They nailed the look and feel of a Mario game with excellent strateg gameplay. Now I just need a sequel!

This was one of the first games I bought for the Nintendo Switch and i'm glad I did! It's a fun twist on strategy games with a quirky cast of characters that had me laughing the entire time I was playing. It does get slightly repetitive in some spots, but since I am still early in the game it should pick up the further I go. Definitely recommended!

Almost like a JRPG. Reminded me of fire emblem not nearly as cool lol. Nice and simple at first but then ramps up in difficulty after the half way point which was kinda intense, but enjoyable. The story is pretty silly and funny which i can appreciate. For the price, a great value.

I see the same review for this game over and over again. "I wasn't expecting much but came to love it." The early levels are tuff but the real fun starts after you level up and get better weapons, so don't get discouraged. It's also fun to revisit old levels with your new arsenal and get revenge on the enemies that once troubled you. A Great Game!

A Strange Mix That Somehow Works Like many people, I thought that the idea of a Mario and Rabbids crossover game would be bad. Then they revealed it would be an Xcom-esque tactical game and things changed pretty quickly. What was more or less considered a joke ended up turning into the best Switch exclusive so far in my opinion.

It is actually quite strategic and tactical and quite funny.

This is personally my favorite game on the switch and a must own. Its unique and challenging but also easy enough to continue playing. I love the Xcom style gameplay and it fits what they did here extremely well. Game looks amazing, even when undocked. Rabbids are hilarious and its always great seeing the mario characters.

A great mix of Mario and XCOM, not too easy but full of charm.

My son got this for Christmas and he can not stop playing it. He plays this and Mario Odyssey until the Switches battery runs out.
