I don’t find it particularly better than the first game. Feels like fixing something that wasn’t broke. The sparks are very fun and probably the single best new aspect of gameplay. What’s missing from this game is the originality of the first. Kingdom Battle was all to do with the mashup of the two properties, Mario and Rabbids. That has been lost this time around. It doesn’t matter too much from a gameplay perspective but it leaves this game feeling not quite as fun as its predecessor.
