Great game, but only when price is discounted

The combat is fun and the TBS is a core gameplay feature that could take some getting used to, but love that there are 6 characters to use starting out of the gate (no unlocking of them before putting them in the rotation).

Great Sequel

The non-linear progression makes the game take a bit longer to get through. The updated battles and systems work well and are mostly intuitive coming from the previous game. There is also a change to the controls during battle. But the battles are a bit more freeform and flow a bit better.
