Honestly I can't really review this game It was a Xmas gift for my brother...but the only thing I can say is he plays it all the time.

Mario Tennis Aces is best and shines the most when playing with friends. The game is extremely easy to get into even if you only have a few minutes to play. Competitive online needs some balancing when it comes to characters, but it is still a super fun experience.

This is a super fun Mario sports game. Nintendo really knows how to make Mario and friends playing various sports to be fun. Has a few flaws in the character choices, game mode selection, and the story mode, but Nintendo is making regular updates and patches to the game, so I'm very happy with the progress there.

Having a tennis game was long overdue and I feel like Mario Tennis Ace delivered. It's actually a very challenging game and super fun to play with friends or online. If you are a tennis fan you will definitely like this game

Bought this game as a gift and my friend was very happy!

This game is really bad. It really shows how much of a terrible company Nintendo is. This game fails to show and explain how to do things and then when you mess up, you get penalized with loosing time(which is stupid on it's own that dam Nintendo has to even put time in their games to make it harder) and gives the opponent an advantage over you which immediately causes for a game over. They also put obstacles in your way on the courts which causes you to mess up as well. One particular level is really annoying. You have to hit the ball 400 times without messing up three times. Sometimes your opponent will do a supershot to the far opposite side from where u are and mess you up. This game fails to make anything straight forward and then punishes the player for it. Nintendo's decisions with this garbage game is terrible and they are stuck in the past. I returned this game and used the money for a Xbox game that's much better.

The game itself is simple and entertaining enough. The connectivity issues for tournament play online is some of the worst I’ve ever experienced. Even though it tests the connection prior to matchups, I still find a majority of the matches cause a significant amount of lag. Other times it kicks me off and then threatens to punish me if more disconnections occur. I have great internet, so the issue doesn’t come from me. I wouldn’t recommend paying full price for a game that wasn’t fully and properly developed.

in terms of story there isnt much but for a pick up a play is good also for playing with friends

You cant play a real tennis game. All you get is best of 3 games.... no Sets, no matches. You can't play doubles tournament either!! The only doubles you can play is in a tiebreaker setting. I wish I could return this. I bought this game expecting to have endless fun with doubles mode. Real dealbreaker!!!!

Nintendo really messed this one up! The mario tennis from GC was the best!! All they had to do was add more courts and championships... instead they made it into a spectacle. We want to play tennis!!! Not go on an adventure!! After all its named Mario tennis, and not Mario adventures. Wish i could get a refund. #failed
