If you love tennis, and if you love Mario, this is the game for you! There are super fun trick shots, and playing against the computer and others via the web of both equally entertaining!

Fun game, not a fresh take on the series by any means. A pretty traditional console series Mario tennis entry. You’ve got an adventure mode, some mini games and traditional play now.

Mario Tennis Aces is a fun and accessible tennis game that has enough complexity to be akin to a light fighting game, especially with all the special abilities, different character styles, and techniques. Easy for beginners to pick up, with a moderately high skill ceiling.

I love this game. It's different. I always look for the more obscure titles, and after having played the 64 version years ago, had to pop on this. Worth the investment...

Wasn't to sure on what to expect when getting but since a good amount of people in my social group purchased i figured i join the party. Pretty happy with my purchase; game does cause some rage moments but what game now really doesn't. Fun with groups; okay in single player

I needed a 4 player game for Pizza And Nintendo Night for my nieces and nephew. I had played previous Mario Tennis games and enjoyed them. The kids loved it! I am currently obsessed with another game so I haven't made time to get very deep into it yet. Hopefully soon!

    Missing Features

This Mario Tennis game was hyped up from the very beginning since it has been announced. The single player component was great and the new way to play definitely makes the game more competitive. Unfortunately, this game is missing key things like customizing your free play options to more than a tiebreaker or a best of 1 set of 2 games. This game also lacks tracking which player you beat each tournament with like every other Mario tennis game is known for. You cannot unlock characters either which takes fun out of trying your best to play all the modes. Online is solid and the options for playing the tournament style type play make sense to quickly get to your next opponent. This game is a step in the right direction, but they came up short yet again.

Had to have growing up playing tennis and playing other Mario Tennis games. I find the story modes more difficult than one would think. Maybe I'm getting too old. But the game is fun. Good story mode and online play.

After being REALLY disappointed by the Mario Tennis installment for the Wii U, Aces is a pleasant surprise; lots of variety, a fun adventure mode, and more characters on the way seemingly every month via free DLC!

I thought this would be just a basic sports game with a slight Mario flare. Turned out there is a fun adventure mode. And while the game isn't easy, it's easy to learn and a fun challenge, not frustrating.

Family fun. I cannot play a lot of games as the consoles have way too many buttons (80's kid here) but this game I can play. ITs fun and you can play with your kids. No violence and you can slam the ball!

Mario Tennis Aces is a lot of fun to play! The core mechanics are still present and make for fun times with multiple people. The new mechanics add a nice dimension to the already stellar gameplay. Great and fun!

The last Mario Tennis I played was on the Nintendo 64 which I really enjoyed, but this one is even better. The graphics are superb! The game play is awesome with several levels to keep you coming back.

I had heard mixed things about the game, but decided to try it out myself because I was in the mood for a good Mario sports game (yes, I know that's very specific). I have enjoyed my time with the game a lot.

First time playing this game and i must say this game is addicting. You get to do some cool moves and its not just tennis. There is an actual campaign in the game. Havent done any modes yet but this game is fun.

The game is what you would expect for a Mario tennis game. Some neat characters, fun but simple mechanics to learn, and multiple modes to play in. There is a story mode, which seems a little odd for a tennis game like this. It was charming, though, even if a little strange. The main issue I have with the game is in the story mode itself; there are several matches where there are gimmicky tricks and traps tossed in that equate to more of a cheap frustration than an actual challenge. Overall, though, most of the story mode matches are straight to the point and fun. I would recommend this game to anyone that has played previous games in the series, or any fan of Mario looking for a sport-themed game. My sister and I have enjoyed many hours playing the various Mario Tennis games through the years. Good for co-op or competitive with friends, as there are duo/doubles and tournament modes available as well.
