Gameplay is easy to pick up and the learning curve isn't too steep. Story mode is fun, but trite; there's a part at the beginning where an NPC tells Mario it's too dangerous for them to proceed and Toad says what if we show you our tennis skills? And then that repeats over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and then you play some tennis sometimes.

I bought a copy for myself and 1 for my girlfriend so we could play this together on our Switches.

Very happy with this game. We all enjoy it. We get a good work out.

Good fun, play with the kids and have a blast. Gets repetitive though, so best played as a pick up game from time to time.

I loved playing Mario Tennis on N64 & Gameboy. When Is saw this was available on the Switch, I knew i had to return to the days of Mario Tennis. It's well done and a lot of fun. The campaign has a lot left to be desired, but its a lot more fun when playing with family/friends. I recommend picking this up if you played the older Mario Tennis games or if you are a fan of tennis. They have added some features and characters with updates over the last few months. Only making the game better. It's definitely worth a buy!

Just a small competitive fun time with the family as we play some tennis matches here and there.

This is a perfect game for the switch. While the online play may not be the best, it is a perfect game to play with friends or to bring to a party. Playing in person against others will give you hours upon hours of fun. If you liked the original game back on Nintendo 64, you'll wanna pick this up. Although the single player is not highly rated by others, I found it to be challenging and added in a few hours of play time as well.
