Super happy about Mario Tennis. I am extremely happy I made this purchase. I played with my daughter and she had a great time. Some levels are more challenging than others but this is part of the fun. Great multi player game also part of the fun. Challenge with your friends. Strongly recommend it. Go buy it now.

if you loved mario tennis and have played previous titles like the 3ds version you will be blown away how smooth this game is and attracted by its visuals. Treat yourself to a feel good title or get really competitive on versus using motion controls (recommend for parties/get together on versus only) on joycon.

This is a fun game. I got it primarily to get a little exercise, and it's great for that! Some have left low reviews because you can't play a "real game" of tennis and can't play a doubles tournament. None of that bothers me. I don't play tennis in real life, and this is a MARIO game, so I certainly don't expect it to be exactly like real tennis. I personally enjoy this game.

This is an incredibly fun and surprisingly deep tennis game. It is arcadey, but there is a lot of nuance to different types of shots and abilities, and character differences. I've had a blast playing, but it is also surprisingly difficult! I don't mind it too much but I'm struggled to get through a lot of challenges -- which isn't a bad thing. It can be very fun to play with others

    Camelot is back!

The hailing return of Mario Tennis is most welcome. By focusing on single-player content as much as multi-player, Camelot has designed a fun, complex yet easy-access take on their own franchise. The new systems are most welcome. There is a lot to like here for any player, whether new to the series or a veteran.

I don't mind the goofy story. It's Mario. And the tennis action is fun, albeit arcadey. The game has a surprising amount of depth but does suffer from some limitations. I wish there were more straight up casual matches against the CPU, I wasn't too fond of what I call "mini-games" but as a whole I enjoyed the game and I'm not a big tennis fan (although I like tennis video games)

This iteration of Mario Tennis is an enjoyable entry. The addition of story mode is a nice addition to add some meat to the package. Playing with a group of 4 is a blast. Local co-op is a reminder how much fun it is to game compared to online.

This game is much better than I expected. I am a fan of Wii Tennis and they added a lot more things to make the game more entertaining. The single player mode is fun with the different quests and Mario villan matches. But the best part of the game is the multi-player mode which should have good replay value.

I got this for my 10 year old son, but I love playing it just as much. It's easy to jump right in, and is a great game to play when friends come over. We haven't tried to go online yet to play with his friends, but it's something that is supported and should be just as much fun online as is Mario Kart.

This is the best Mario Tennis game since the Gamecube era, but that isn't saying much. It's a lot of fun to play and includes some nice new gameplay mechanics that add to the craziness you would expect out of a Mario sports title. It's great to see a story mode added back into the game (though it always should have been a part of the experience), it's just a shame it's a little underwhelming. I enjoyed it, but it was too short and lacked the variety you would expect from a Nintendo title. It just could have been fleshed out more and would have benefited from more depth. Online play is consistently laggy with peer to peer connections and combined with Nintendo's lackluster new paid online "service," is a huge disappointment, despite the awesome tournament mode. Overall, I felt like there just wasn't enough to do or unlock in the game, even if there was fun to be had against friends and other competitors. More courts/modes would have gone a long way considering this is a $60 product. It's a step in the right direction, but solid at best.

I have been wanting a tennis game for a long time. It has it all. It’s part arcade and part sim and fun for the whole family. It has most of the popular characters and game play is fluid and graphics are really impressive.
