It adds elements not found in real tennis, it's a Mario game. The mini games help you learn what's needed to defeat computer opponents, as well as the humans. I found it very fun. For all ages.

Super fun!! The kids really enjoy this game. We play 4 player matches (doubles) so the whole family gets to enjoy.

Controls great. The single player campaign is a little lackluster, and there are some serious issues (no quick restart) that make the later levels frustrating, but the online is solid. Will appeal to fighting game players, strangely enough.

I didn’t know what to expect but it was a Mario game so I decided to buy it for my son. This game is surprisingly very entertaining would recommend for those that enjoy Mario sports games

I am enjoying the free play option with the multiplayer feature. It's great for small get togethers and parties. You can play up to four people in the doubles matches.

Mario Aces is a classic, and this version kicks it up a notch. With power up moves and different character play styles, be sure to play the story before getting online. It's challenging!

You might not be a fan of tennis, but the game is very entertaining. This is one of those hidden gems. The boss fights, story mode, and gameplay are very fun.

I bought this game for the swing mode and it's pretty fun except for when you swing one direction and the ball goes the complete opposite direction. Story mode is a long tutorial...overall it's a fun game but not worth the full price

Suprisingly fun for a tennis game. I thought it would be boring, but I enjoyed playing this very much. The controls are easy enough and what I have seen of the storyline is entertaining.

Kids and parents can play this game together and have a good time with it. Takes a while to learn all the power up moves, but is fun to play while you learn.

It's fun to play with friends, but doesn't offer much else in terms of single player. The online gets boring after awhile due to lack of modes and every opponent does the same strategy.

There are many things about the game that could probably be fixed with simple patching, so my apologies if they do get fixed at a later time... but until then I'm giving this 3 stars. The challenges in adventure mode range from stupid simple to near impossible. The main story can be beat in about 3 hours or a little more depending on your skill level. It's practically a giant tutorial for the mechanics. Don't expect swing mode to be anything like Wii Sports tennis. The swinging gets messed up and swings at the wrong time or not at all. Does not feel intuitive. The online mode isn't that great. Connectivity is awful and finding a lobby can be hit and miss.

This game is so fun and all the trick shots and racquet health add a lot of tension to matches. You can turn it around at any time and the online tournament component is very well done.

My brothers and I enjoy sitting around the tv playing this game. Last week they released new characters for free through DLC. Nintendo supports the products and keeps innovating!

The latest installment of Mario Tennis adds in new gameplay mechanics, and it is still a blast to play. The controls are smooth, the visuals are nice, and the new story is fun to play.

This is probably the best Mario Tennis yet. A good story mode is great, but really the tennis is unreal. So many attacking and counter styles make this game simple but with good depth.

By Nintendo standards online support is great. A year of support and still a healthy playerbase. Offline content is sparse. The adventure mode is okay, but short, and nothing to unlock by winning CPU tournaments.

My 12 year old got this one for a gift and he really likes it. He even stopped playing Fortnite temporarily to play this one! He seems to still enjoy it after several weeks of play.
