This Tennis Game With MARIO and Crew is a unique spin on the game of tennis. These include gameplay elements such as “Power Shots” and breaking the opponents racket! Story mode is a little repetitive. However a good game overall.

This turned out to be more fun than I was expecting. It covers the basics of tennis, as well as advanced skills like slices, lobs and (of course) trick shots and the power meter.

I was really looking forward to getting this Mario tennis game upon release and while it's a good game there are some things missing that would make it a great game. Let me preface this by saying I really do enjoy the game and don't regret my purchase, it's a lot of fun and the new mechanics add a lot of strategy to the mix. Onto things I don't like and hope will be fixed/added in, I can't play online with a friend as a team vs other online players unless we're on the same switch, there are really no stage selector or any customization options at all, and there is no way to play a real full game of tennis in this tennis game. Overall though I do really enjoy the game and will get a lot of playtime out of online and with friends, just hope they fix at least some of the issues with it.

I thought that just playing tennis repeatedly would get boring fast. But this game adds challenges and gives a sense of accomplishment the farther you go so you never get bored!

I like that they placed a story line behind the game. Learning the moves and utilizing them arent as easy as it seems. But i give it an overall 8 out of 10!

I really like all of the Mario sport games on switch and prior consoles. Although it does have multi-player, it lacks in the story (4-5 hours long) and isn't too deep with everything.

This game is super fun to play. It is not very difficult which makes game playing easy and fun for the whole family. It has classic Nintendo characters which makes it fun too.

Even if you've never actually played RL tennis in your life, this game is fun yet challenging. Adventure mode is no walk in the park. Free play with 3 other friends is a blast

I've spent about 30 hours with this game and there is a lot to like, but also a lot not to like. The gameplay itself is great and there is a lot of potential in both online and local multiplayer. If you are a fan of the Mario Tennis series, you might want to check this game out. However, the game leaves a lot to be desired. There is almost no customization for any of the characters (only Mario has a changeable costume if you played the demo version). You don't actually play a full game of tennis. Instead you basically play best-of-three-sets. And there is no way to change that. The single-player Adventure Mode can be tricky and annoying to get through, especially if you've never played the Mario Tennis series. And you don't really get anything for completing it. I've played about 100 matches online and it can be very frustrating. Players just max out their energy gauges and perform special shots at will. And trick shots can be super annoying as well. But overall, I've enjoyed the challenge and am hoping that they can fix some of these problems (lack of customization, more robust Adventure Mode that actually gives you something, and a way to nerf the special shots/trick shots) with an update. I gave it 3 stars because I liked the game but don't think it's worth the price tag just yet.

Nintendo does a great job of bridging the gap between what is good wholesome entertainment fr the kids but enjoyable for the parents. Good to see this is still going strong.

If you like Mario and tennis than what better way to satisfy your craving than a Mash up of both. It’s fun for the whole family and up to four players.

Mario Tennis Aces is a great game for fans of tennis or Mario games. I like how Nintendo is moving towards more online competition especially by releasing new characters to those games who play in the monthly online tournament first and later to everyone. In the single player side, the Adventure mode is fun. The story is interesting and the levels aren't just win this tennis match to move on. Some of the levels are hit x amount of volleys to unlock a new racket or win a match while hit shots around obstacles or even defeat enemies by hitting them with various tennis shots. It's a fun game even if you're not a tennis fan.
