Meh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once promising, but a lack of content and awful story mode make this an easy pass for anyone who yearns for the days of the N64 or GameCube Mario tennis games.

So much fun and it keeps growing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is a ton of fun with friends and they keep adding characters for free!

Not worth $60.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was fairly optimistic about this game with the story mode and promise of great online play, but was really disappointed by this game. The gameplay is fun, but gets old fast. The story mode is way too short and, unlike Mario Kart, it's not really a game that friends and family want to play when we get together. A great story mode would have remedied that issue, but...nope.

Fun, but not much to it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is fun for a few hours, but once you beat the story mode all you have is online. There is not a lot of content and the story mode was lack luster for me.

Fun game

Meh, more timing - the game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has Mari and the gang eating ice cream, being their casual selves. There might be some tennis in there, haven't gotten that far yet. Either way, I love you.

Fun but short
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not many options, would have preferred more for replay ability. But what is there is fun, takes some getting used to though.

It is alright
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The N64 game was better than this. They are trying to go too over the top with these upgraded games for the Switch

Boring and for kids
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This one was way to easy and not enough depth was added to keep me coming back. Fun with friends though!

Need to get used to controls
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a fun game, but it does take some getting used to when playing it - especially for the motion sensing controls

Way too hard... Even for the "Git Gud!" players
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK, I like a challenge as much as the next guy. So long as it is possible to overcome it. Mario Tennis Aces... is not such a game. I don't know if even eSports players could get past some of the blasted insanely hard levels. And worst of all, no cheat codes. Only way to unlock all the courses is by beating the main story. What about those of us who just want to play some video game tennis?

Kind of boring
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has a decent amount of variety, but just doesn't get that interesting. If you really like tennis games you'll probably enjoy it.

Fun Gameplay But Lacking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The gameplay is super fun and intense, but there's an overall lack of content. Basically only a short boring story mode and then online play.

Nice visually but awful to play
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I heard good things about this and I'm now convinced those people are either the exact target audience or entirely biased. This was awful, I hit a brick wall of progress on the 4th match and couldnt beat it. Why is there a health bar? I dont even understand why I'm losing health. Whoever designed this, I am going to avoid anything you touch from now on.

good game bad balance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is fun but it needs to be balanced out more as Waluigi and Bowser Jrs are taking over. Trick shots become ridiculous and rigged.

Fun, but bare
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great tennis game with really interesting mechanics, but it's pretty slim on features. I don't recommend this if you're playing solo.

Good core game in need of serious rebalancing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As of the writing of this review (7/2018) this game needs a lot of work in order to give a full recommendation. Currently many characters are overpowered for online play. Bowser JR and Waluigi specifically. Also you cannot choose your court or play a game of tennis with traditional scoring model. I recommend searching for patch notes that address character re-balancing before you purchase this game. It was clearly rushed.
