This game is good, but could be much better as a tennis game. As a Nintendo game, this is great for kids and family play. The interaction is not motion-based by default; you will use buttons most of the time. However, you can select certain games to use for motion-based play. This is a minor complaint, but worth paying attention to if you are looking for the old Wii type of interactivity.

Online is lacking, but fun tennis otherwise

There's not much that needs to be changed, but the 3DS and Wii U versions added some mechanics that I wasn't a big fan of. This is more of a return to form with the option to play without the extra power mechanics they added. The new stuff they did add is worth a shot though. There are fun stages and lots of characters. I just wish online was more active.
