More realistic than Wii Tennis but not as fun
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I guess I was expecting with more advanced technology to be able to play similar to how Wii Tennis worked, but unfortunately I have not figured out if it's not possible or I have not found the right mode. It brings tears from the 4 year old who doesn't like to lose, and seems fun otherwise to all other family members.

Addicting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played Mario Tennis since GameCube. Playing doubles with friends is just so much fun. It can get pretty competitive when things get heated up. Even when playing solo once you finish play the online tournaments it changes compare when you play again computers. I recommend this game for parties and hangouts.

Tennis + Mario = Family Fun
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not the biggest tennis fan but Mario Tennis Aces makes it a whole lot of fun! The story is pretty plain Jane but the gameplay is awesome! Multiplayer is where it’s at. Playing against friends and family is addicting and very competitive.

Great 2 player game.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gets repetitive after a while, but what else do you expect from tennis?? The power shot feature with each character keeps things interesting, just wish there was a power shot return feature for the other player to counter balance some of the shots. As all power shots are almost an instant point. Adventure mode is boring, this game is best played online or head to head. Single mode stinks

My favorite tennis game in years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best tennis game I've played in a while. I used to play a ton of tennis IRL so tennis games have always been fun to me. The old days of playing virtua tennis arcade (and the dreamcast port) were the golden years of tennis video games until I started playing Mario Tennis Aces. This game is so much fun to play. It's definitely not a simulator but that's part of the fun. The special shots feel so powerful and there is a lot of variety between characters that keeps the game from getting stale. Adventure mode is cleverly done, beating tennis based trials/challenges as well as playing against enemies to unravel the story and gain access to new areas. I think tennis fans and mario fans both can enjoy this game, as usual with Nintendo it runs great and is very polished both in mobile mode and on the dock.

Fun On Your Own or With Others
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mario Tennis Aces for the Nintendo Switch is just an enjoyable experience for all those involved. Whether you play through the story mode that constantly engages and challenges the player, or you are locked into intense competition with friends, family or those far away, this game is just pure fun.

Great game that hopefully will become better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Already the new Mario Tennis is better than the last few games in the series, more content and a better arcade style tennis experience both. It does lack some options that you’d expect on a game like this today, and hopefully the dev team is listening and we will see some nice updates coming soon.

Fun Multiplayer!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game to play with family on game nights. everyone really gets into it and once you figure out the special plays then the fun really begins. playing against the computer can be very difficult even on pro level with not the highest difficulty. Can be challenging but fun nonetheless.

Fun game but not epic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game play mechanics are great and the story mode is fun but at the end of the day I feel this game doesn't like up to the 60 dollar pricetag. I will admit that I am not a huge sports fan but I have always enjoyed the mario strikers and baseball games. Just not crazy about the tennis ones.

Great Game!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really Enjoyed this game, its a little complicated to play online and definitely the adventure mode is very good but its better if you find someone to play it with all the time, is more challenging.

Tennis with a twist
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There are no judges to take a game away from you. The single player is fun, but soon gets annoying and to pass a tennis match it isn’t clear on what the game ask of you. I had an easier time solving puzzles in the recent Zelda game. Playing with friends and family is a big draw for me. Its nice to have another Mario multiplayer game to couch compete with.

Met my expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After playing this game for several hours over the last few days, I can say that this game is very fun and has proven to be worth the initial purchase price. For everyone, the worth of the game will be different in terms of what one hopes to get out of it. I actually played this game in a party-type setting with friends, and that is where this game shines the most. All of us were pretty unimpressed with story mode. One of my friends, who also owns this game, said that the gaming press was inaccurately reflecting the difficulty of some sections (according to him it's easy as pie), while another friend found the whole story mode/gameplay in general to be frustratingly hard. I find myself falling right in the middle, with a little leniency toward the difficulty not being something insurmountable. We found that when we focused on just playing against one another, that was where most of our time went. We had an absolute blast when playing against other people in the room and against people online.

An interesting take on tennis
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is a lot of fun. The story mode is pretty funny in how they tie in tennis and there are ancient temples you have to unlock by playing matches. I think it recognizes that it is a little bit on the absurd in that way, but is still the classic mario tennis experience.

Birthday winner
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a birthday gift for my son and was a big hit. He and his brother have been playing Mario Brothers games since their debut, and this one did not disappoint either of them.

Fun game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for Christmas as a last minute gift. We walked into GameStop and my kids started playing it and asked for it. I am glad I did. They love this game and laugh so hard playing this. No fighting either. HA! They also play random people on the nintendo network.

Great party game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game has a simple single player campaign that teaches you the basics and is cute and fun yet challenging at times. The greatness of the game though comes from the split screen or online multiplayer. Absolutely bananas trying to beat more than three people online but so much fun to go toe to toe with your friends! Would definitely recommend
