True sequel to power tennis, if you play online

Mario Tennis Aces is a great game, but its lack of offline content, and lack of some basic features (online co-op being the biggest) is disappointing. Gameplay is some of the best in the series, and its mechanics are deep, but if you don't have a lot of friends to play locally, its focus on single online may turn you off

Usual, high quality graphics and decent game play

In general, this game has the usual high quality graphics and decent game play for Nintendo titles. The only drawback is that playing on just the Switch Console, the screensize makes game play somewhat challenging at times. However, this minor problem is alleviated by just playing the game when connected to a TV console.

My 10 years old LCD TV died on me so I decided to shop around. Customer assistance at Best Buy walked me trough several models until I fall in love with a Sansung TV 4K. I do appreciate his patience to stick around with mr till I was satisfied.

This game is fine. I think you should buy other games first, personally. I haven't played it much. I was really excited about it, but the online options and single player options didn't grab my attention (I was hoping for something that felt more like the GameCube's Power tennis), and the gameplay is really technical which makes "hey, you wanna play this with me?" really frustrating for folks who don't also own the game. The motion controls are an interesting solution to the normal-gameplay-is-too-technical-for-a-fair-match-with-a-first-timer, but they are also odd and produce a lot of "dangit, I wanted to do something else" moments. I'd recommend this game for a household where at least two folks want to learn the game together and challenge each other.

Game is super fun with all the free content updates. New characters, and an RPG type leveling system in a tennis story vame make it a very appealing game.

This is a great game, I had a lot of fun while I played it. After finishing the story and 3 tournaments their ain’t a lot to do but I’m also not the biggest Tennis fan so I can only play so much of it. Nothing wrong with the game just not entirely my style.

I'll start off by saying I'm not very good at the game so far, I guess I prefer the more traditional and basic gameplay of tennis games. It's still a well polished game from what I have played so far. The online game play isn't for me, but local multiplayer with friends is something I'm looking forward to doing soon.

If you are a fan of either you won't be disappointed. Having not played the previous version of this, I can only say that it is fun and pretty accurate to the sport (arcadyness aside). The story is super cheese but fun and kid friendly (if that is a concern). Great graphics and variation of characters and playstyles.

While there are challenging modes available for hardcore players, there is also a simplified joycon-wagging motion control mode that is accessible for beginners. I had a ton of fun doing co-op missions with my brother, and the friends we gifted it to seemed to enjoy it thoroughly, too.

Good Story Mode; Replay Value Not Great

Maria Aces was a fun game while on Story Mode. So much so that I finished it in under a week. But going back to replay it is not great. There's nothing new to do or see. So, enjoy the story mode, it is great. But don't expect to be able to go back to it once you finish it; there's not much there afterwards.

The game is pretty fun, but it could use more content. Best Buy did have the best price, so five stars for them. It was also in stock at my local store, A+. The store pickup was easy and quick. Staff was friendly and efficient at their job. You rock Best Buy.

Great game for family fun. My wife and I have been paying it since we bought it and we have tons of fun and lose track of the time. The gameplay is spot on and the graphics are the usual Nintendo.

This game is runny fun and has fun new mechanics. The only problems it has is that it is a very online heavy game and if you enjoy unlocking characters you get almost all the characters from the start unlike the demo. However this is a great game with a fun adventure mode and I highly recommend this to everyone.

Nintendo just keeps improving their tennis games as they continue to release them. The single player story mode is a lot of fun, the multiplayer is even better. Great controls, lots of character variety, stage variety. Highly recommend this one.
