    A solid tennis game

Mario tennis aces hits a solid balance between a fun multiplayer game and a challenging tennis experience. The game is easy to pick up and play but special techniques like slowing down time or blocking really powerful shots takes a little bit of time to master.

I brought this game for my nephews and we have been playing a lot since then, is not perfect, but is fun and entertaining for what it is, a tennis game, multiplayer, and Mario characters are part of Nintendo games, so don't complain. From 1 to 10, I will give an 8.

The story is very in depth and detailed. I haven't played much of the story but the controls are easy to learn if you practice all the skills everyday. The quality of the game is very good.

Much needed improvement over the WiiU predecessor.

The WiiU iteration had very little to unlock and the repetitiveness left much to be desired. I waited on purpose for the additional content to be released. Was worth the wait and the sale was an added bonus.

Very Polished Tennis Game With Annoying Story Mode

One of the most fun games you are gonna play! But the story mode is very terrible. At least compared to the multiplayer or tournament mode. Story mode aside, this game is one of the most fun games you probably are going to play. Especially if you play multiplayer.

I have always been a fan of the Mario tennis games and this one did not disappoint. It shines as a game to play with friends. The single player mode is is worth some of your time as well

This game is fun, though not without flaws. Tje various levels of controls ensures everyone can play on an equal skill. The only thing i want to see added is Orion for points to win amd what court you play on.

I really love the story mode and the online mode for this game, the ranking system is good for a competitive gameplay but they could implement a mode just to play more comoetitive with somebody at your level.

This is probably one of the best mario tennis games ever made....except for the fact that you can't play regular tennis as in you can't create a game where you do 2 out of 3 sets or 3 out of 5. I'm hoping it can be patched in. The gameplay itself is great though

The game is really goood they improve on the beta version. The energy based mechanics are an interesting addition to the tennis mechanics making the OVO portion challenging and more of a stratagic experience.

The controls are easy to learn for beginners, but the game quickly introduces optional techniques that add depth to the normal Mario Tennis gameplay. Main story is a great addition as well.

The singular player is fun and becomes challenging. Online is difficult but still fun to play. Easy to play with young children. I play this game with my 4 year and have a blast. Must have for Switch owners.

I haven't picked up Mario Tennis since Mario Tennis Nintendo 64. This game is fun. The adventure is quick, and online tournaments are rad. This game is so fun, My friends and I spent a whole day playing it.

The tennis matches themselves are great, and although adventure mode, and the features, are slightly lacking, I believe it's a title that Nintendo continues to support, now that they've discovered patching.

Great multiplayer game that could use some UX work

The UX (user experience) is quite bad when you can't retry immediately after a loss and must suffer through the post-loss game save and cutscene, only to restart the pre-game cutscene. It's also lacking in customizations, but for what it is, definitely a fun experience with friends! Story mode can feel unbalanced due to bad AI (sometimes too trivial, sometimes too difficult), but largely serves as a tutorial/practice for local and online play. There's no reward system to play it, as you already unlocked all the characters and it's only for the local play stages. Multiplayer could also use some work to allow more options in (e.g. better UX on stage selection like in Smash versus having to opt-out of everything).
