I purchased this game for a Christmas gift and I know she will enjoy this she asked for this games specifically.

This was a gift. However, I have been told that it is "totally awesome!"

The story mode is pretty challenging, and the fast paced online multi-player matches with other players can get pretty heated!

This is a super fun and entertaining game. Again Nintendo made another great game. Good movements and incredible effects!

Overall the game is fun, but could use a bit more polish. Mostly minor QoL features needed, and some more game modes for online play. Still great for what it is though.

I'm not familiar with Sports games so I'm just giving my opinion as a noob. The gameplay is fun but it feels as if it's missing something, I can't put my finger on what it is though. New content will be added later and it is enjoyable for what is there. If you and your friends are competitive and play a lot then this game is for you, but if you're looking for extensive single player content then I suggest looking elsewhere because the single player content is not as great as other Mario games tbh.
