Vibrates by itself after 15-30 days.

5/5 -its sound, however -3/5 for reliability. If I am to spend this amount on a subwoofer,
I expect performance longer than 30 days. This model was recommended by a geek squad home theater specialist who said that it is currently tier 1 for the living room’s setting. At first, the sound or should I say “vibrations” were amazing to a point that it was hair raising. 2-3 weeks in, the sub started vibrating by itself. I changed it to a wireless setting and still had the same result therefore replaced it this time for the first time. Dynamo 700 strikes again (vibrated by itself) w/in a couple of weeks. I asked geek squad, even after being recommended to get a totally different model, to just give me a new but same Dynamo 700 unit, 2nd time just to give it one last chance. 30 days in and AGAIN! while watching football, started vibrating by itself. A big no, no. I would not recommend this subwoofer because of its complete FAILURE to be reliable, and as a big disappointment from MartinLogan line of subwoofers. Good thing that geek squad was there to help.

Best sub I have had yet- lots of clean sub power. And it was free with the Martin Logan ESL speakers. Can't beat that!

I must be missing something

I picked up a Dynamo 700 to pair with the Martin Logan Vision Soundbar I recently purchased. I figured this was a no brainer because I could make one adjustment on the soundbar and it would sync via the wireless transmitter. That worked fine but I would get barely any sound out of the 700 even when playing my Soundbar at 50%. I adjusted all the settings to what Martin Logan recommended. Volume at 50%, switched to LFE and phase at 90% and it's still the same. I must be missing something. I play my music and TV at a relatively modest volume and have read that if there isn't a strong enough signal going to the sub it won't kick in. That would not make sense here since these two units were made to be together. I will be returning my Dynamo 700 tomorrow, very disappointing experience.

Great Sound - Horrible w/Wireless Connection

Went from a wired unit to wireless to avoid having to run wires outside the home. I'm now on my second unit due to a random popping sound; and Magnolia says I'm stuck with it or I can send it to the manufacturer to see if it's defective. (only several months old). In both cases I had their installers do the work (along with other items) - during the last visit when the 1st unit was replaced, the installers told my wife that it was a good unit, but it's not perfect when in the wireless mode. (Unit is even on it's own surge protector) If I would have known, I would have sacrificed location for quality. Expectations absolutely didn't align with sales pitch.

Powerful bass for such a small box, there is a blue light that blinks constantly and my neighbor was mad that I was too loud, told me to turn it down, that’s why 3 star

I tried this sub for a few weeks. It was pretty good, but I returned it because it was not as good as I wanted. Fine for booming through a movie, but not tight enough for accurate music production.

My old Velodyne sub finely developed a vibrating sound so I looked for a nice replacement. Money really wasn't a factor but if I can not spend another couple grand that would be great so after seeing some reviews, a well respected name and a sale I ordered it. Maybe because I came from a Velodyne or because I like a lot of bass this was not the speaker for me.
I was immediately irritated as I plugged in the speaker and even at a low gain it starts vibrating across my hardwood floor. It has to much power for how light it is. On carpet I probably would have been happier but it is convertible to a front facing speaker so crisis overted or was it.... Nope I set it up front facing and still at high gain it still vibrated. I was probably not going to be happy at this point no matter what but I played around a little bit to see if it would get better. I moved around some and turned down the gain, got it to be passable and not moving on it's own.
So now we get to listening. I didn't turn on a movie and it would probably be fine there but I really pay more attention to bass in my music so let's test some music. What was playing wasn't great but I put it through the paces. I started off with Lil Jon Bia Bia and turned it up. Immediately we have a problem. There is a slight delay in the high bass and the low end thus creating a sound that seems like a pop and then the vibration. Next we hit the deepest parts of the song and it just dies. So let's give it rap softball and I switch to Rap God. The delay from the high to low is even more pronounced. Undeatered I gave a rock try. Fire up some Volbeat. The high end of the bass is just too pronounced. I will say though I turned on Slipknot and the speaker over performed even from my Velodyne. Very nice. Thought that Metal might be it's thing so let's fire up some Metallica and I don't know how to describe it but it's just unpleasant. I just turned it way down and I gave up.
Maybe I expected too much and probably for the price it is great but I would rather pay more even if it's a lot more to get something I can use.

Disappointed with the sound

I tried to convince myself that I love the sound because I spent the money on a Martin Logan but a few days later I realized that it is not worth the money. Smaller than I expected and the sound was subpar
