I didn' like it as much as the first but it was definitely fun!

The Marvel Ultimate Alliance series is one of my favorite series of co-op RPGs. Given the fact that it's been so long since the last and the series was effectively dead, this addition is hugely surprising. Not only does it do the series justice, it also freshens up the series to make a great addition.

It’s over way too soon. General gameplay is short. While fun teaming up, you can’t really go back to increase the strength of other characters without wasting resources, so you’re stuck with whom you played longest and can only hope a new character joining is at an appropriate level with compatible abilities. There’s a grid not unlike that from FFX (sphere) or even Smash Bros Ultimate (adventure), but it takes multiple forms of currency at once, one of which is in disturbingly short supply. You can complete challenges and increase the difficulty to level up faster and gain rewards faster, but without co-op they’re darn near impossible and eventually all fun is sucked right out of the room. I regret getting the DLC before playing long enough to realize my fun was sucked.

This is a fun to play game that any marvel fan should love.

I really enjoyed this game, playing local co-op is great fun.

I have been hyped for this since its announcement. I loved the other two and the legends series back in the day. I didn’t experience all of the technical issues some were complaining about and when I did, it didn’t hinder the game. I couldn’t put it down and look forward to future play throughs
