Very fun mindless button mashing

If you’re just looking for a fun game to play, then this is a mindless button mashing beat-em-up with superficial levels of strategy and puzzles. That pretty much aptly describes the entire MUA series. If you’re not a Marvel fan, it’s still fun. If you’re not a Marvel fan and not a beat-em-up fan... this game is likely not for you.

Fun if repetitive

The story is fun and engaging and deviates from the MCU enough that it has enough fun and surprises in it you wouldn’t expect. It does kind of turn into a button masher if you let it, and it needs more X-Men, but I’ll happily throw down the money for the season pass to get more levels and characters out of it. And you can play co-op locally! Definitely a recommend and a game everyone should check out.
